How to obtain LightFury:
1) obtain first the SoL.
2) Talk to Vormav at the alliance base (he'll tell you where to go)
3) Go to the amazon's castle (forgt the exact name) and talk to the the who's trading gold for various tomes
4)He'll tell you to have 999999 Ibra. (if you've defeated Evil Pants, you'll have as much as 999999 Ibra) then he'll give you divine quintessence.
5) return to DVD's Magma Core, and poof! it became Lightfury!

ps: well, i was really lucky the fiend dropped a seal. =P

ok, i remember now, he's that giant snail, right?
hmm..i wonder why that didn't count as difficult part of the DVD..
Kill his minions first and keep using mend, it helps a lot.
you can do it.

ok harmonic, i have nothing against this game now. ^_^
I DEFEATED EVERY BOSSES AND SECRET VILLAINS!!! WAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
Once i have the lightfury, equipped with tyranos, even ishutal is easy. But mrEvilPants still is so hard...but i managed to destroy him. wahahahahaha! ':..:'
The Celestial Warriors are no match too. =3
sorry, i forgot where i got that Apocalypse sword..huhu
hey, and i LOVE ISHUTAL'S BUTT at the ending mini-game! (spoilers, hehe)
You'll play as ishy killing innocent people, but her sprite doesn't show off unless she attacks. aw.
nice work.
pretty hard at the end, even the final boss.

ok, i've done it, already got Divine Quintess..something, the guy said it needs to be brought to the bottom of DVD.

Man, you should know how to balance your game..

A painstaking amount of effort was put into balancing this game.
The boss you can't beat is 100% totally optional. I'm sure by trying a different strategy you could beat him.
All this is irrelevant, since upgrading the SoL doesn't require you to beat Evil Pants. It's also a bonus that's far from necessary in order to beat the game.
All this secret end game stuff is exactly that... secret end game stuff. Difficult, and secret.

But ishutal herself is darn hard to defeat without those secret power-ups..
