[RMVX ACE] Randomizing PC Graphics

I'm messing around with an idea. The PC has a child and then the generation shifts and you play as said child. The child's appearance is based on a set of variables and switches (species and elemental affinity).

I know how to consistently change the PC name and sprite but I was wondering if there was a way to use the correct face for each different child with out knowing which child the Player will choose.

Merry met all. I remember playing Record of the Agarest Wars and being fascinated by it's selling point: "Soul Breeding". I was wondering if it was possible to pull something similar off using scripts or events. (I'd rather an event, I can't wrap my head around script writing.)

I was thinking I could use a variable to keep track of the relationship between characters, a couple variables to randomize gender and class that depend on the relationship variable and several sprites to fit these categories.

Am I going too far? Is there a less bulky way to pull it off? Does it even sound like a good idea?

Character Stats

I was wondering how I would go about creating character stats that aren't too over the top or too low.
This is something I have a huge issue with.
While I'm on the subject I have issues with figuring out monster stats as well.

*And yes I am aware that there are examples in the data base, but I once emptied it (thinking that I was such a genius and could just make crap up) and was lost. I couldn't seem to get the Stats correct.
Your help will be highly appreciated.

How would I go about using variables to add to a character's relationship with another team member or npc?

Animations and Choices

I'm back with even more questions

1) I wanted to know if there was a way to "shrink" down animations? What I mean is when I use an animation during an event like a character teleporting form one side of the screen to another the animation takes up the whole screen, when what I want it to do is only show up in the character's square.

2) How do I have the player choose a gender/side at the beginging of the game? Do I use Events, Variables or Scripts? And once I do seperate genders/sides is it possible to have two completely (or almost completely) diffrent storylines as a result?

I was looking around and I didn't really find may so I'd like to ask.
Are there any Good (or bad) Games that have an animals the Main actor or, for that matter, one with an all animal cast?
