Well, I'm about to take the leap of faith into the indie game community. Wish me luck. Still, RMN is my home. ^^

I'm looking into Game Jolt, myself. haven't heard of indiedb before. Good luck!
I didn't know about either of those >__>
I've been meaning to put some of my stuff on itch.io for a while now! It looks nice and it's free and you can choose to put games up for free / pay-what-you-want / money, and you can choose what % you want to share with the site (if any!) I guess it's kinda popular lately - maybe that'd be a place to look into?
I'm dunno about other forums though, especially Reddit... even though it's a big one...

I have seen a few RPGmaker games on both those sites. It could grant you the exposure you need. ^^ Especially since the competition in general for RM games isn't that great. We could turn that around.

I've never heard of itch.io before...
I swear, there needs to be a thread where we talk about other game hosting sites. Then again, that'd be like going to a university while wearing the jacket of a different university.

Nothing wrong with getting a little more exposure. =) IndieDB has over 1 million indie devs.
Yup :D If you make something really cool, of course you want lots of people to see it, right?
RMN is pretty dev-focused aside from the wanderers who stumble onto our games while searching for Pom Gets Wifi. It's perfect for beginners who want a lot of feedback from other gammikers and for those of us who wanna talk shop and make friends with other people who like gam mak :) I wouldn't trade that part of RMN for anything.
But if you want more people to see your games, it makes sense to put 'em up in as many places as possible, especially on other sites that are more player-focused. That's probably just the bare minimum to getting new people to try out your stuff.
author=Red_NovaI throw my completed games up on GameJolt and have since like its inception.

I have also heard of itch.io but never actually investigated, even though I've always meant to.
Wow, awesome! :D Best of luck!
I'll have to put Luxaren Allure on some of these sites after I finish it ^_^

Wait, we aren't part of the indie game community (or I'd think we're like a close-knit sub-section of it)?
Still, I wish you luck.

Shaaaaaaame! -points at and then screeches like pod people-
You know you've got the community behind you, go out and conquer that greater larger audience.
Because seriously when it comes to Great, we're it. Haven't you seen the title of the migration thread?
