If crap like chronicles of a dark lord and all of its sock account reviews can get on steam, im sure you getting would be a simple enough task.

The Steam store ain't what it used to be for devs. It used to be incredibly hard to get games on there and now it's much easier... however, the average game makes much much less money than it used to, and it's harder to stick out. Still, I think solid, well-crafted indie RPGs are still a rarity compared to, like, indie platformers, so I think there's a niche out there for your stuff.
