I have to? And i dont really know what that is. I dont frequent this site too much since i havent heard back from anyone who would be interested to help me with editing sprites. so i was hoping people would get excited and want to help if i put a demo out.

I will have a working beta version of the game within a week or two.
Just take note this will not be a full story mode game. This will just be a free roam game. Walk or webswing or fly around the New York map. You will be able to go inside select buildings and search for criminals and super villains.
You will also be attacked while walking around by some suprise Marvel comics villains.
You will only be able to play as Select Avengers characters for this beta game. But there will be some fun easter eggs for anyone who wants to play.

But the fun for us and especially me, is that if im bored of working on any specific game in this project, i can shit my attention to something else and still get work done on this.
The street level characters you get to fight thugs and gangstas walking around the streets and stopping crimes to level up, and little stories with bosses happen.
With the X-Men you get to recruit characters as you go along in the story. using cerebro will track down the new characters for you. when you find a mutant you have to try and recruit it or it will fight you.
With the FF you will be able to travel to the negative zone.
We also have some ideas for our version of marvels civil war.
If you really think about it, if we follow all the marvel movies, there really isnt alot of fights in the movies at all. spiderman 2 had 3 fights with doc ock, maybe six fights in spider man 3, 3 fights in amazing spiderman, even the x-men movies are like that.

well thats kind of how im doing this. im using Couslon an Shield to connect all the different franchises. kinda like how they used him in phase one of the avengers movies.
theres not alot of tweaking of the powers. some characters will shoot bullets. Spidey will be like that but with him you have to make the web cartridges. you have to go the different places and get all the different ingredients from stores and then mix them together.
the main story is the infinity gems. but to get to that point you have to level up the characters. so in the smaller sub games you get to level up each of the heroes in their own stories. once all of the different stories are done you get to choose your own team and try to take down Thanos. This way by this time most of the characters should be leveled up enough to beat him.

the reason they went after marvel brothel is because of the misuse of their characters. if the movie studios do the same to their characters marvel can fight to get their movie rights back. In this case it portrayed their characters in a demeaning way lol.

ya i know. but im pretty good at using the program. the only thing that has ever really stopped me is the graphics department. theres never been sprites and moster sprites, and battle graphics that are done well. until these last few years. and the makers of the sprites dont even use any game making program! There is no fan game or actual game that covers these characters.
map making is easy. sprite editing is not too bad for me. i just cant edit the really detailed monster sprites. Since i got that Wasp sprite from calunio I made ant-man. movie version with mask one, two with mask off ( hank pym and scott lang) and a ant sized one too. Once i get all the graphics in place the the rest is smooth sailing.
The monster sets, character sets and face sets are all imported now. Ive just importing all the chip sets in now. I am going to use the map for lego marvel's new york as the basis for my new york.
