Haven't fired up the new demo yet, but I do wanna jump in and say that I think some swearing is perfectly appropriate in a game involving samurai. While they are a courtly warrior class, they are still a warrior class. Before they were legitimized as the upper class of Tokugawa-era society, they were basically just warlords, who would protect a territory in return for pay. Even after they were legitimized, there was certainly nothing to keep them from using strong language in the right context. Moreover, because Christianity was late in coming to Japan, there wasn't really the social taboo of "if you speak these specific words, you will be going to hell." So, while all samurai may not cuss all the time, a samurai with military training or a rough manner would probably swear plenty in the right context.
Also, it's important to note here that a lot of the words that get translated as swearing in English are still coarse language in Japanese, but have slightly different meanings or have more emphasis in Japanese than they do in English, so the translator uses a swear to add that emphasis back in. An example of this would be 'temae' or 'kisama', which both mean 'you', but in most modern contexts are so informal that they're deliberately vulgar. Showing this through translation can be a headache without adding context. You could write 'kisama' as 'you!!!', but you could also write it as 'you bastard!'
Christians were murdered in Japan for their beliefs, there was a war in Japan because of this. Just like in the muslim world a lof of christians symbols are banned. :)
Hell existed in Japanese culture before christians arrived in Japan. Jigoku/Yomi in shinto religion.
"The "Christian problem" was, in effect, a problem of controlling both the Christian daimyo in Kyūshū and their trade with the Europeans. By 1612, the shogun's retainers and residents of Tokugawa lands had been ordered to forswear Christianity. More restrictions came in 1616 (the restriction of foreign trade to Nagasaki and Hirado, an island northwest of Kyūshū), 1622 (the execution of 120 missionaries and converts), 1624 (the expulsion of the Spanish), and 1629 (the execution of thousands of Christians). Finally, the Closed Country Edict of 1635 prohibited any Japanese from traveling outside Japan or, if someone left, from ever returning.
I will add more about this in my game.:
The christian problem reached its highlight under Ieyasu's successors Tokugawa Hidetada and Tokugawa Iemitsu, particularly after the predominantly Christian population of Kyūshū had risen in the Shimabara Rebellion against the shogunate in 1637. The uprising was crushed brutally; more than 40,000 Christians were killed. Authorities of persecution were set up, with the goal of a nationwide persecution and extermination of the Christians. Anyone who was suspected of being a Christian had to abandon Christianity publicly and dishonor Christian symbols, which were called 踏み絵 (fumie, "step-on picture'"), as well as register in the Buddhist register of faith of Buddhist temples and visit those regularly. Those who refused to abandon their Christian faith were executed, often through public crucifixion or incineration.

Thanks for your feedback, and yes the demo ends in Ichihara 1660 when the massacre of Gion happens :)
-I like the mapping and atmosphere, but a couple of the houses in the town look a bit flat. Making the roof a bit wider would fix this " I fixed this and now looks awesome, also I did more stuff that will make it more noticeable that time has passed"
-I was a bit confused by the whole bit with the christian cross/gate and random Japanese chanting. I understand now that it was to reach the dragon's cave, but there had been no indication or mention of having to pass through this gate until then. Kojiro seemed to know all about it, but the player doesn't. I think that's not good. Maybe have it mentioned earlier what he's looking for and why?"I will do"
-The battle system was interesting. Went on a bit long, but I can imagine with more allies and enemies it will be good. I found the healing items to be a bit weak, especially against the dragon (it did more damage per turn than I could heal with a rice ball). And....One-Winged Angel? Really? It's a great tune but I think too well-known. I just kept thinking of FFVII instead of your game ^_^ "lol, I think its a cool song but I could change it for an epic one"
-In the 9 years betwen parts 1 & 2, what were all these dragons doing? Ittosai was talking about them coming to get revenge and stuff, but why suddenly 9 years later? Maybe you could explain this? "The Dragons are looking for the dragon killer specifically, I thought I put this in the game, I will check"
-Finally, the swearing...sorry to keep on about it but it really doesn't fit and in fact made me laugh (which is presumably unintentional). "That fucking dragon" indeed...I just can't imagine a 17th century Japanese samurai speaking like that..."Well let me tell you something.... If you go to any country to any given age, be sure that they curse, Yes, even 2000 yrs ago and specially if you are in danger of dying."
-Why are there Japanese dango sweets outside the brothel? ^_^ "sweets and whores, what more can you ask, when you are older you will be able to go in there"

Hello, Right now I am currently working, I will try to fix the things you guys mentioned. Let me know what grammar or spelling you guys have found out.
"Especially when the wife of a samurai says "damn".
I dont see the samurais wife saying "damn", that is why text is in lower speed, because if its normal or fast you guys skip or wont pay attention to details, it is the bad guy that says damn.
I fixed the bug in the screenshot above, it was weird because the event did not want to work, lol, and made a waterfall at the end of that map, I will upload later today.
thx for your time.

Hello Marrend, thanks for the feedback. I never seen that game you posted a link.
I did not copy any game mechanic. I got this jumping Idea from ninja stealth. What does ninjas do? go through doors? or go through roofs?
About the text of speed, it is meant that you carefully read everything and not skip the text.
I will check the getting stuck part, because I did play it and found nothing. please upload a screen shot or video and show this please, I will test play later. and upload a new version if I find something.
