I wish the current localizers would do more of the old episodes that were done by TV Nihon. They... didn't do a very good job and some of my favorites like Ultraman were done by them. Oh well, there's always The Mystery of Atlantis for Arino and Toujima coop fun and Solomon's Key for Sasano and the whiteboard.

yeah, although I think retranslating the KOTAK episodes is already handling the worst of the stuff. how've the DVDs been selling so far? I really hope there's enough demand for them to handle more episodes.
that said, I still prefer the unofficial ones. the arcade segments are probably my favourite parts, and I miss 'em.

Arcade segments own and liven up even the worst episodes. The translation team has translated the extra segments on the DVD episodes and released them separately. Not sure about getting more episodes right now, iirc the main localizer is working on some official GCCX stuff but is tight lipped about what it might be. At the very least when Retro Game Master came out on DVD it was a top seller on Amazon for a bit.
