if you liked paper shrek: the thousand year donkey then playing this will probably begin to feel like a chore pretty quickly because I'm literally just sticking as close to that game as I possibly can
I know what you, the players, enjoy in an rpg... and it's exactly what you've already seen in other rpgs and nothing more
well, you see, I always wanted to make that game based on everything I enjoyed as a kid. That game was the end result.
Ain't nothin' wrong with making games that you'd want to play, even if they do take from the games of your youth. Nor is there anything wrong with making Fan Games - as long as you get the lore and characterisations right.
