EDIT: Ah shick, the green outline is there again...
The area is nice, but it still lacks shrubbery and forest life, like flowers, weeds, etc. Try adding some of that and it should help you out a lot. ;)

And once again, the edit took me all of ten seconds. You know what, I'm going to edit all these areas right now, to make them a little more appealing straight off =]

Trouble being, I've used all three layers in adding the ridges (which aren't very clear in the image) because one can't walk on top of them... And I can't edit them so that you can because it's an autotile and I've only just started using rmxp really...

The building is sort of a chapel, and so the only pride of the erm... two families who live in the hamlet. But yes, I do see how putting some small farms into their lives would make the the scene a little more realistic. Thanks ^^
EDIT: don't know why I pressed post, I wasn't done...
And I intend on reducing quality of housing after finishing an hour of gameplay ^^ But I might jump back into resetting this scene right now :) Since it's attracted attention.

Yep, basically, but the building was still there... You must be psychic :)
I know it isn't amazingly full at the moment, but I'm trying to continue on for a bit. This was a ten second rework of the original. So the only thing more busy is the water, I'll admit. But it is only meant to be a poor little hamlet anyways. ^^

Your mapping needs to have some tuning friend...If i may i recommend Using real references Like your forest for example it's empty here's a link to something that it should look similar to

And yes, I will be revising the appearance of the forest when I get back to work tomorrow ^^ Basically tuning up the old maps then carrying on with the story!

Why is are the grass tiles a different color from the road tile's grass? Why?
Any quick fix? xD Else I might just leave it... it isn't a massive deal afterall lol
