Like Legionwood? Check out the sequel! http://rpgmaker.net/games/3811/

In production since 2007, Legionwood: Tale of the Two Swords is an epic length traditional role playing game created in RPG Maker VX which was completed in late 2010.

Featuring accessible, familiar gameplay reminscent of the early Final Fantasy titles, Legionwood offers you a 20+ hour long quest set in a massive fantasy world filled with challenging enemies, involving quests and tons of character customisation options with the in depth AP Character System.

The world has been at peace since the Great War ended 1000 years ago. Now, an ancient antagonist is ready to set in motion a plan that has been in the making for centuries. Take control of Lann Northshire, an ordinary peasant who is unwillingly thrown into a conflict that will soon engulf the entire world. The fate of Legionwood hangs in the balance. Will you be able to restore peace to the land? With a thrilling story of love, revenge, war and peace, Legionwood is an adventure that you won't want to pass up!

Featured Game!

A short, sweet update: for those who don't know, Legionwood is RMN's featured game this month. I didn't know it was coming, and was pleasantly surprised when I logged in today and saw it on the home page. So uh, kudos to me, I guess?

Anyway, I just want to thank everyone who has played and supported the game (especially those people who provided useful feedback) over the course of its development and the couple of years afterward. Your comments and suggestions have shaped the game and helped me make it into what it is today. Keep on playing and remember to drop a line if you have any thoughts, because an update is never out of the question. I worked on this game for nearly 3 whole years and it was a huge part of my day to day life once. For giving me the chance to see it succeed, I owe you one :)

So celebrate this occasion by giving it a download and playing it through, if you like. Thank you once again, and keep an eye on Legionwood 2, which I am slowly but surely plugging away at. There is plenty more old school RPGing to come!

idida1 whis editor are you talking about?
he's talking about RPG VX editor... seriously do u really find this game too hard that you have to cheat?
Yes and no, All i whant is to get more AP, So i can be stronger.
I have a question, Where can i get Dual Wielding in the new version?
Never mind :P found it. By the way, I may have stopped playing for a while, but the story you have in place here is awesome! My only complaint is the slow feeling the dungeons give. Although I'm one for faster combat so don't mind me :D.

I heard a rumor of a part 2. All I have to say is, I can't wait ;)
If you by part two mean a sequel, there's actually a Legionwood 2 game page up.
Playing this build 6.3 trying to beat lich for over an hour ? I keep him stunned and wack away any help ?? Thanks
Build 6.3:

In the pirate dungeon, there are some doors. One is without a keyhole too. But, how do I open them? In build 5.5, I remember that I found a key in the dungeon but that key is removed now.

Also, this game is great!
You must solve the code puzzle to open the door without the keyhole. As far as I know, there should be no need for a key, hence why it was removed.
I confused where to go after I finished with Acsog castle and Martyn?
Sail to the island to the south.
author=Dark Gaia
Sail to the island to the south.

Thanks, I enjoy playing your game more and more. But I have to admit its a bit difficult then other rpg's I was playing.
I know. That's intentional. I liked the difficulty level, and I designed the game to be challenging.
ok, it good, I like challenge, but am stuck, what's code for ice cavern?
Come on, the puzzle isn't that hard. I'm sure you can work it out. If not, the answer is given earlier in this comment thread.
where is the code puzzle in pirate cove? I can't find it xD
Hello there! I'm sooo late I just started playing this game now!!

One technical problem: during the Ice Cave maze (chapter 3), my "up arrow" in the keyboard is continuingly active!! Like, I'm not pressing it but the game registered it as I'm *pressing* the arrow! I tried restarting the game but there's no changes, even in the title menu I can't click "up arrow" (because the game thinks I'm already pressing it)

What caused this and how do I reverse/ fix this...?

*)EDIT: nevermind, it seems it was broken too with other RPGs... restarted my computer and it's fixed :D
i've found it ^^

about the marilith's tomb, it's in greenvale or elsewhere ?
I stuck I don't know where to go next, after Martyn said " You should go and find altar..."
There's a video walkthrough under the Media tab for this game. Give it a look and see if it helps.
