i missed the RM2k3 Golden Week and Aether Pulse was just put on hiatus. i'm kinda sad about it!

But seriously, the lack of racial diversity in the RM facesets always threw me off... its always so hard as someone with 0 art ability trying to go through and edit skin tones, so i'm stuck with a figuratively vanilla cast...

i'm making a damage calculator in an excel spreadsheet. because nothing irritates me more than having to repeatedly battletest to balance stats and skills. NOTHING.
i also finished the stats and parameter growth rates for each character, all base stats are loaded from an Excel spreadsheet. i can't stand RPG Maker's stat growth thing in the database.

i find it weird that when i post a small scriptlet or make a custom encounter tutorial that i'll find my name on the most random websites. some are like russian and they appear to be referencing my work! i love it at the same time though!

i just finished up diabolica's css, more like revised it though. idk i am AWFUL at any sort of design so this was a struggle. not to actually get it done, but to figure out what looked PLEASING to the eyes

Out Of Control Cops - A Serious Problem In America
Caucasian man from my hometown of Kalamazoo, MI waves around an assault rifle (later discovered to have no ammunition inside) and is calmly handled by police
it is legal to openly carry a gun in my state, but brandishing isn't. the man was regardless not charged. i don't see any injustice here, i just think it is something to think about and compare to other events
thoughts? do you think this situation would have turned out the same way if the man with the gun was black?
i think this situation was good and this sort of behavior from the police is how to properly handle situations like that one
