I'm really regretting not entering this contest. Maybe next time.

I really wanted to enter. Shame it overlapped with finals week. Great job to all the participants!
The actual results are going to get published too right? Without having to listen to them?
Soon. Once GRS posts his part.

Maybe.

Could I BE any more Chandler Bing from Friends (TM)?

I would have entered had I known there was a chance Liberty could say my username ;_;

I'd rather have written results as well. That doesn't mean I'm not downloading Part 1 of the Podcast as I type this, though.

*Edit: I suppose there is the hide-tag on Part 3.
The results have been posted here. There is a list of the top five but you should totally listen to the podcast. We did a desk drumroll for them and everything!
I updated this entry now with all 4 links!
Listening to the podcast and man I sound so awful, so crackly. I really need to get a better mic for next time than a cheap $20 headset.

Well, I had no problem understanding what you were saying, but Ness' sound quality was so low that for a non native-english speaker, (well, at least for me) it was really hard to make sense of what she was saying at times.

Regardless, good job all judges. I couldn't have personally gone through that amount of entries myself.
Yeah! My microphone is so horrible there! My mother just gave me her better microphone so I'll be using that instead in the future, sorry about that :(

For Heir of the King, I found that the music for the town could be avoided. It was an event based on "hero touch", not a property of the map. At least the version I played, anyway. I has to look at the game in the editor to figure out where the event was, but, let me tell you, it was a godsend.

Then again, I didn't get very far into the game.

I'm just making excuses for why my voice is not suited to talking publicly
Heh; Thanks for all the feedback, guys! You're too kind. Too kind! ...I'll keep everything you have said in mind and improve upon it as soon as I resume working on this project. Hopefully, I won't disappoint any of you! ^^;

He updated the version somewhat after the event. Deckiller ended up playing the newer version where you had to choose the music from a piano player. (The proper version had it start as soon as you got in to town. You can check out my LP of it on its media page to see the official competition version. Spoiler: I have a bit of a breakdown.)
I want to thank everyone that tried out my game, and especially the judges for taking the time to play it and make the podcast. I'm listening to it right now, and it's got some great feedback in it for me. I'm glad that it was somewhat enjoyable :).

Edit: Oh no! It looks like the version that you got was not the full game :/. I must've botched it! I had a lot more beyond the volcano finished, there was the whole game through getting the four spirits in your party and fighting an evil big bad. I'm going to go reupload it to make sure the right version is up; I apologize for this.
