RMN BATTLEDOME! ROUND TWO!
Posts
Sorta nervous! Hopefully, the power of Rainbows will help Bunny to shine bright through his prismatic achievements! (P.S. I have no clue what I just said.) :3
Wait, when did the OP get updated with the brackets? On that note, how are the fight results determined?

It's based on voting, I'm pretty sure.
I'm not sure how the voting will work, though.

If it is voting, why do we have stats and equipment?
Just for show, maybe? Ideally people will vote for the robot that has an obvious advantage, I guess. Though everyone will probably just vote for their favorites. :P

Or, judging by the voting participation of the music challenge, not vote at all.
: <
I'm assuming that at least all the participants will vote, and probably some more. And about the music challenge thing...
I did want to vote during phase 3, but I never got a chance to really analyze the songs and form an opinion.
If it's voting, I predict that the 'bot with the best graphics wins.
I'm not sure if I'm being totally sarcastic, or totally serious with this prediction.

The weapons will probably determine the outcome more than the stats. The stats are basically pointless and they are a reflection of the weapons and design of the bot. If you pimped out your bot with tons of energy weapons it would have a high attack stat, it will need a high energy to actually use them, which means it will be lacking in some other area that the creator decides. If you made a tiny humanoid bot it might have high agility and maybe it could outrun all those energy beams until the opponent runs out of energy and secures the win. Some bots have strategy included so that plays a part too.
Some might just vote for the one that looks the best, but you're supposed to look at the match up, imagine the fight, and pick who you think will win. That's how I'll be doing it.

Link is correct.
Stats give you a reading on the build of a bot. They don't mean anything REALLY in the RPG sense you all think in; they give you a firmer understanding of something, making it more than 'hey art'

Mine doesn't. :T
Oh good.. 3 days after the deadline and nothing happened. Glad I didn't miss anything lol.
Wait, if stats don't mean much then my bot's not gonna last long since he doesn't have a weapon other then his hands and feet.... great.... I should've invested in weapons.

Voting/Battle discussion is HERE, if anyone missed it.
superBlast, having only hands and feet as weapons may be advantageous against certain foes. We will see. Your bot is more fighting style centric, while others are weapon or defense reliant. Depends who you go up against.
