Well, yeah. The gun control thing is pretty complicated because it's embedded in our culture, so you can't really put too many regulations on it without pissing off more than half the country.

The same goes for the other side of the fence, as with everything in politics.
Honestly, sometimes I think all of this crap was perpetuated by the government just so people would ignore the shady stuff they do behind the scenes.

From all the people i've met in real life that live in other countries, i've only managed to feel true dislike towards americans and one particularly dickish swedish man. Maybe it's the holier than thou attitude they were toting while they stayed here but they sure fit the asshole american stereotype to a T. Or maybe it's because i'm mexican and a large portion of the american people have been conditioned to think of us as subhuman for the entirety of the last century.
Yesterday was unpleasantly warm. Today's morning is fresh, so i really hope the weather will stay that way for a good portion of daylight.
