Kinda reminds me of a Chinese scone.
I wanna post something but I only have negative things to say. :( :(
I do not avoid double negatives.

Is anyone good at C++? I heard there were some pros in here... ヽ(*・ω・)ノ
I could help.

I need to PM you right now. :O

ROASTED CHICKEN TONIGHT!
Murderer.

I don't eat chicken because I live with chickens. Chickens are my friends. They have a well ordered set of moral rules they do not violate, and they are patient listeners.

I curse your hedonistic and decadent consumption of a noble fowl. I cast shame on your household for disgracing a civil and honorable bird!
I feel like my CS teacher teaches so little, and we always end up doing a lot more difficult assignment. I always have to ask around for help. Are all CS teachers going to be like this? :(

I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

yes

there is suspiciously close to 0% overlap in what computer science classes teach you and what you actually need to learn to be able to program software

the "good" news is that the stuff you're being forced to figure out on your own or from other students is actually useful

So... why do we even need a teacher anyway? Simply to push us to do the assignments? :(

Remember when I actually used to make games? Me neither.

you're a juggalo since when did juggalos develop feelings for the fowl

actually I'm not sure if that's a jester or a juggalo

to give you a grade

This was my opinion of my college professors, and of my college classes in general: they were not there to teach anyone anything, they only existed to confirm that the students had learned it. Most of the students had learned most of the material before the class ever started, and the professors knew this. Others figured it out along the way. The professors' only job was to give out tests and make sure that you'd learned the stuff somewhere.
I actually like CS classes. They teach stuff that is not inherent to the process, but is still good to know.

It's easy to figure out what you have to do. It's hard to figure out the reasons why.

I suppose that means that my independent reading of the book and fiddling around with the programming techniques I've learned thus far indicate signs of reasonable progress?

The hardest part of CS is problem solving, basically. But any CS student should be able to tell you that. The thing that gets me is how much you actually need to know of the very basic stuff (all of it) before you can actually start being useful in just making 20-line programs. Even then, I always get the math wrong because I'm a dumb.
Random question of the day!

In what year was the video game "The World Ends with You" released?
1st to answer gets nothing
2nd and past also get nothing!

Hint: It was for the Nintendo ds
2007 for Japan. :P Is that one of your favorite game? :D

I mostly have to go in with blind guesses, which is a huge issue since we have a test in two weeks. It's going to be on paper, and without a computer to test anything, I think I might be done for. :(

I wish I had knew this before jumping in. :O No wonder why he said he is going to leave us on our own to either sink of swim. :|

Kinda like math. I could differentiate a function, but why did I do it like that? No clue. :3
