A big issue with what GW produces is that although the games from the community's best are impressive from a technical and graphical standpoint, I'm not really into the whole ZANY/FUNNY/WACKY/HUMOROUS atmosphere they all seem to have. I appreciate something more serious.

There is probably a good reason for that. I'm not the only one who feels this way; there always has been an air of groupthink going on at GW. However, this is only my opinion, and I'm not badtalking their community seeing as I haven't been a part of it for a very long time now.

I dunno, I would DISAGREE, but even if it is objectively incorrect, the mere impression of it has been enough for a lot of people to have that opinion and base their involvement in the community (or lack thereof). It just seems to be a collective pseudo-somethingawfulesque place where for example, a topic discussing politics or something may be created asking for opinions, but in reality its a 'hey let's all bounce opinions we all already share off each other and when someone who thinks differently than us comes along we collectively jump him and call him closeminded'
