WHAT ARE YOU THINKING ABOUT RIGHT NOW?

Today I found out that you recharge your tissues while you're asleep at around 10-12 pm. Makes me wonder if my tissues are dead.
Once again, I am irritated that my laptop can't play 4/5 of the games I installed on this because my video card isn't high enough. >=/

I'm at the same place, only I haven't played P4 in months. :\
Just beat the dungeon and HOLY TOLEDO the boss battles in this game are great. I was like OH NO I'M ABOUT TO - oh hey Masukukaja, thanks for saving my ass for the fifth time this battle.
(For those who haven't played Persona 4, Masukukaja boosts the entire party's hit rate and, more importantly (although missing sucks), evasion rate. Yes, you can evade skills. Yes, it is a life-saver.)
My party formation for the past two dungeons - and whatever's left of the game - is Kanji/Yosuke/Yukiko. Hero has Hariti with inherited Masukukaja/Masukunda (Masukukunda?). Hero is DEF+, Yosuke is EVA+, Kanji is ATK+, Yukiko is BARABRBARAGH KILL ALL MARAGIDYNE EAT MY FLAMES BITCHESSSSSSSSS
Masukunda is correct. Also, USE CHIE DAMMIT (fist of god spam)
Also, Louis Cypher.

Also, Louis Cypher.

Kanji is better than Chie due to attack/defence scaling (although Galactic Punt is pretty sweet in its own way)

Kanji wishes he had Power Charge and God's Hand.
He doesn't need them
Dr. Video Games 0031
Tentarafoo has a 30% success rate. Although enemies could be weak to ailments in other SMT games, this does not seem to be the case in the Persona games.
Most likely what's happening is that you're more inclined to use Tentarafoo on an enemy group with no weaknesses, so you naturally notice them getting confused more often because you're casting it more often, not that it actually has a higher chance of success.
Also, to finish out this 'sperging post, to the person who had concerns about defense mitigating more damage on multiple weak attacks, it doesn't work that way. Final damage numbers aren't a result from defense being subtracted from attack or anything like that, but is instead 5 times the square root of the result of your attack multiplied by your strength over the enemy's endurance. There are a few other small modifiers like your level difference and a random number, but let's assume all that stuff is 1 (they don't often stray far from it).
The square root part is important, because what this means is that two weak attacks in a row will actually do much more damage than a single attack with twice the base damage value. It is also important to note that damage increasing buffs are applied after the calculations, not during. The full formula can be found in this guide.
The end result of this is that with Tarukaja, Kanji's two Primal Forces do a total of 657 damage, assuming his strength is equal to the enemy's endurance and all other modifiers are 1. Chie's single power charged God's Hand with Tarukaja does 580 damage, again assuming that her strenth is equal to the enemy's endurance and all other modifiers are 1. The end result is that Kanji definitely does more single target damage than Chie.
Holy shit what a :goonsay:. Now that we have this out of the way, maybe we can stop this silly debate and talk about much more important things like how useless Exhaustion is.
Do you really want to start this nerdfight?
<chaos> hahahAlso, Tentarafoo freaking owns.
<chaos> GRS thinks Kanji > Chie.
<Silviera> hand of god
<Silviera> that's all I have to say :P
<chaos> Power Charge.
<chaos> Galactic Punt too.
<@Karsuman> actually kanji's final attack skill is better
<@Karsuman> statistically
<@Karsuman> but he has no power charge =p
<@Karsuman> so his damage output is still lower than chie's.
<Silviera> what's his final attack skill?
<@Karsuman> primal force
<chaos> Chie gets Agneyastra and High Counter though.
<chaos> And her Bufula does more damage than his Ziodyne.
<@Karsuman> yeah kanji doesn't get those
<@Karsuman> yeah agneyastra is better then whatever multi-attack skill he has =p
<chaos> I don't think he gets any.
<@Karsuman> he does
<@Karsuman> he gets several IIRC
<@Karsuman> but they are all medium-strength
<chaos> http://megamitensei.wikia.com/wiki/Take-Mikazuchi None.
<chaos> Best he gets in Maziodyne.
<@Karsuman> huh
<@Karsuman> I thought he got the affliction ones.
<@Karsuman> guess not
<@Karsuman> just a shitty damage maziodyne
1) Primal Force has higher base attack than God Hand (2200 vs 1600)
2) Two stronger attacks do more damage than one power-charged attack due to attack/defence scaling
3) If you are seriously using Kanji/Chie's magic skills to do damage you are an idiot. Do you also use the MC to buff? The only time you should be using those skills is to knock enemies down
4) Kanji learns the stronger physical skills sooner in the midgame
5) Kanji gets Matarukaja which helps everybody out (especially your primary damage dealer, the MC) and means you can leave Teddy to do more productive things, like warm the bench
6) High Counter is situational at best and any enemy that you can't curbstomp is a boss and anything dangerous can't be countered. Matarukaja is also much better in every way possible
Kanji isn't perfect and Chie has better agility to actually land attacks and learns more (any) physical group skills, but when you fight bosses (aka the only hard thing in the end game) Kanji's double Primal Force is better than Chie's Power Charge+God Hand

This is actually my reasoning since I love Masukukaja like Craze does, and Agneyastra like Craze loves Kanji. Galactic Punt is always amazing, as well.

Do you also use the MC to buff?
No, I use him to debuff. Debilitate owns.
Aside: Yosuke > all those other chumps
At least we agree on something.
Now everyone get Strange Journey on day 1 so we can bitch about that.
