Yeah that sounds like 100% fanservice right there. The original Gurren Lagann was as if the creator started playing Majora's Mask during the second half of the series. Which IMO turned out pretty trash.
Majora's Mask is awesome
The #1 thing that made Majora's mask a fun playable game was that the handbook told you at what times people needed your help. If it had taken the lazy design decision to make YOU follow everyone around all day to get their schedule added to the book, or god forbid made you make up your OWN schedule, then the game would have made me give it up.
I was instantly hooked because... YOU CAN'T JUST LEAVE LINK A DEKU SCRUB OKAY!? Poor kid... although arguably the deku kid you see on your way to Termina (and his butler) are much worse off.

Yeah I'm just kidding around.
Basically I went to an open day/interview today and all the current students talked about were their crazy nights out. Sounded kind of fake quite often, like some sort of marketing ploy.
EDIT: Oh and you would be amazed at how often I get the "old man" thing

I am posting from the new macs at school and they are incredibly sexy hardware-wise. The screen is almost forty inches and and the keyboard is a quarter of an inch thick.

I just got back from a concert in Seattle featuring Vedera, Fun., and Jack's Mannequin.
Fun. was the only good band. I walked out on Jack's Mannequin. My god they were boring.

We have a bunch of new Macs with slim keyboards and those big cinematic displays at my school, I am not a huge fan of Macs but one of those running WinXP and 3DS Max... my god they render faster and handle complex scenes better than the lab PCs, and the screens, in spite of being glossy (WHY) are sexy as hell.
That keyboard sucks a huge biggy though. At least the school ponied up for 5-button mice :D

My dad is using my car. When I woke up I thought "Hey, I should do my physics homework and finish Goodbye, Mr. Chips!" I had my physics homework and Goodbye, Mr. Chips in the backseat. :<

I had the worst teacher for chemistry. One day he was tired of teaching so we just watched Field of Dreams. Which in retrospect was awesome, but he still didn't teach.

I have the utmost respect for the fine science of chemistry, but I'm with you - I'm eagerly awaiting the day three months from now when I'll never have to think about it again. Every chemistry course I've taken has just been one chore after another. :/
