i know a group of girls who asked a guy if he was gay and he was really insulted and became proper introverted. apparently hes really homophobic now as well.
and my brothers knew a guy who was really camp and everyone took the piss, so he became a christian and is set on gays being evil(but he is actually gay which makes it even sadder)
though the group of girls were just being spiteful because he was an easy target at the time. i get that your mate is just genuinely asking, ha.

had a bit of difficulties when i was putting the icing on though, the top half sort of slid off and left a huge mess. it doesnt look the business but it tastes delectable.

i will admit, cake isn't really my thing (pies for the fuckin' win) but that does sound lovely.
i think america ruined my opinion of cake, because every cake i have ever had outside this country has been absolutely wonderful. i just can't stand the made-in-the-lab cheap icing and the cardboardy 'cakestuff' that's holding it up. "hey it's your birthday let's all eat substandard shit from a shop"

my dad is the cook/general baking dude in our house. he's from the glorious american southland (texas) hence he makes all manner of awesome smoked meats and more importantly, the absolute best pie i have ever had in my entire life. and i have had much pie.
so naturally, i always wanted pie for my birthdays. every year for the last... oh, 5 or so, i have had a proper slice of pecan pie on my birthday.

I'm gunna have cupcakes on my birthday. There's this little pastry shop that sells these amazing cupcakes. The frosting isn't all sugary like store bought stuff, it's most buttery. Kinda reminds me of wedding cake frosting. It is sooo good.
Also tardis I friggin' love you for posting that "In the Sun" song on Facebook.
