Also, I am pondering ceasing my community efforts here since they are really detrimental to the development of the site. Kind of like an anchor that is keeping itself wedged firmly in the past.

Well, RMN is about game presentation and getting developers to make games so that they can be presented to players. All the community stuff I do is so much fluff and runs counter to that ideal of a network of gameprofiles.
Well, exactly what do you mean? Name some examples; what led you to adopt this viewpoint?
I mean, is it something to just 'WELP I QUIT GUYS', or is it something that you can adapt to while still helping and being enthusiastic to the community? You're one of my favorite Staffers and I'd hate to see you just ride into the sunset.

I am deeply rooted in the "RM site" mentality and as such any initiatives I spearhead are coloured by that. I could draw up a comprehensive list but things like SNEWS, podcasts and RSDs, as well as my tutorials and articles, which do not fit with game presentation or game playing.

Exactly. You don't have to have a sense of tunnel vision to contribute to the community. Diversity and having different things to offer is great! How DON'T things like SNEWS, podcasts, and RSD's help with game presentation or playing?

post=132314i declare this bullshit keep at it! seriously i am not known for being very community-focused and i still read every SNEWS and wanted to do the SRADIO with you (still do in future!) so that says a lot about it i guess! like lovelymorag says, sleep on it and see how you feel. don't do this. don't do this!

Though I haven't been frequenting RMN as long as some have I would be sad to see you stop contributing. The fact that you even do a podcast, SNEWS, and such in the first place is a good thing! If someone wants to do articles and stuff on gameplay and presentation then that's cool too, but I think your contributions help the community and add... I don't know, a kind of flavor or something, a uniqueness maybe. But add something it does! Keep at it Kentona!!
I think it might be just me, but I think youtube is sensing that I enjoy Haruhi Suzumiya too much, as it put the OP and ED themes as related videos to Neon Genesis Evangelion's OP...
On that note, I need to stop watching entire Anime series' in one go, I ended up pulling an All Nighter (An unexpected one) 'cause I got too engrossed in watching Lucky Star as I grinded CP on FFXIII. I think I'm gonna go get my hours of sleep back.....

Lucky Star was funny as hell! Though I too suffer from watching an entire series in one go, watched Welcome to NHK in like 2 days.

My mouse mysteriously ceased function last night and my computer's touchpad is so retardedly oversensitive and glitchy that having it not disabled makes using RMN or RM or SMBX almost impossible whereas having it disabled makes doing ANYTHING impossible. I NEED A NEW MAUS.
Also this site needs more kentona, not less.
