Have you seen that link yet? I clicked it and it is a pathetically incomplete RPG maker that they have the audacity to charge $149 for.
But don't you see? It uses AJAX technology!

Saw it, looked at it, preordering looks like a way to waste $100. If all their screens are of the same little plot of land I can't imagine how far it still is from completion. Running out of budget too if they're looking for preorders. I'd bet it'll die and they'll take all the poor suckers who preordered money and run.
It also looks terrible, the submit button is all fucked up and not-centered (but they'll use regular buttons for close). Scroll bars appear in inappropriate areas, text runs off into areas it shouldn't (like into text input areas). The class editor in Image #7 looks more like a "we dropped some input type='text' fields in and went back to booze". The stats are a blatant D&D knockoff. All screens are of the terrible editor (but not the map editor) and you can't see the way anything looks. At least the "alpha" part of the title is well deserved!
I would rather use RM2k3.
