The World Ends With You is more fun than FFVI could ever hope to be, is more emotional than FFVI, has tons of style, showcases a truly engaging story with interesting characters and has Sho Minamimoto, who shouts "SOH! CAH! TOA!" as he blasts you into oblivion.
Oh, sorry, it's not called "Final Fantasy." It's just by the company people lambast for not doing anything unique or interesting...?
That or people are afraid of a game where you have to literally dress for success, eat french fries to increase your stats and yell at your DS to do damage/stun enemies. I guess maybe people just hate the idea that you'll get attached to characters, since the game is ballsy enough to actually do something to them.
Yeah, Kefka poisoned Doma. I remember that it happened when I think about Cyan's theme. Then I think about TWEWY and shudder from the Fuck Younessosity of the villains, which is shown in awesome comic-style cutscenes (think Phantasy Star, except better).
