I've been forced to attend a job seminar although I was offered a new job yesterday...and I almost want to jump through a window and fall to my death. There is a reason I haven't gone to graduate college yet. I just don't do classrooms anymore (unless I'm getting paid).
Man, I just thought this was a place where you could put your hobby game up on some website, and then spend the rest of your time nostalgia-ing your time away about other games.

Skipped early morning class for some extra sleep because there was 10 scheduled quizzes that have already been dealt with. Checked grades again and magic quiz number 11 showed up with a 0 for the day I wasn't there. Dammit.

Put FF13's soundtrack to listen to last night. Listened to everything, deleted what was bad, unmemorable, or bland. Ended up with ten tracks at the end. Did a second pass tonight, now I'm down to six. Good thing Saber's Edge kicks so much ass else I'd be worried I'd end up with zilch

it's too bad the regular battle theme gets annoying after about 3 fights though

man that Brahman fight though, he is a total joke for the first four phases and then he either remains a joke OR he pulls out his crazy fuck-off mega-buff followed by his garbled-name attack and just destroys everything
kind of disappointing that the surefire way to win is just to bring a Null spell for each element into the fight
(well, almost surefire anyway. actually i never bothered to check whether the garbled-name thing is Phys or Almighty but i'd guess that it's Almighty)
edit: oh wait he does cast mudo i think maybe? i think he does and it just never worked on more than one person (always gale) so i never cared much
I liked all of FFXIII's tracks except Sazh's theme/"no rest for daddy" or whatever, and maybe the chocobo stuff.
Saber's Edge is definitely terrific, though. Snow's Theme is my absolute favorite.

My problem with the battle theme is half the fights in the game would end so quickly the fight would be over before it really kicked in :(

like for the majority of the fight there may as well just not be music because it's so quiet and dull

Really? I loved Sazh's theme. Great use of bossa nova.
I like jazz well enough, but I don't really like Sazh or his theme. ...well, I do like his Synergist abilities, but that's it.
You guys are probably going to say that I'm insane when I say that Vanille and Hope are better characters than Sazh. Well, Vanille is partially because of Fang - a lot of Fang's early development is based on her views on her relationship with Vanille, which strengthens both.
EDIT: Also, because I suck at games, I usually get to hear a full loop of Blinded by Light.
