Hard to believe that Zelda: Skyward Sword will be my final video game purchase... It's been a long run, I suppose, but you have to grow up sometime.
Also, sucks that I don't get to see the Canucks & Blackhawks game on Sunday because of work. I suppose I could always record it...but some moron will mention the score even though I will tell them that I'm recording it at home, same like last year:
Guy: Hey, do you know the score of the hockey game between the Canucks and Canadiens?
S4D: I'm actually recording the game and going to watch...
Guy: I think it's 1-0 for the Canadiens.
S4D: ...(Fuck)

Holy shit talk about retroactive badassery; this meant nothing to when I was a kid, but now it's awesome, the aircraft carrier I'm stationed on, the USS Nimitz, is the aircraft carrier in Parasite Eve! It was cool as shit when the Admiral in the game was 'Welcome to the Navy's pride and joy, the Nimitz."

I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

I'm thinking it's funny that the career assessment I took earlier this month as a requirement for my work-study position lists absolutely none of the career paths I've been saying I wanted for all of my adult life.
I think it's even funnier that, given a few days of consideration, I'm starting to agree with the assessment.

How much I love the tuning used on Thurston Moore's song "Honest James." That is easily my favorite track from Trees Outside the Academy, and I just had to try and learn it. I got about halfway through the song before I just started messing around in the tuning.
It sounds so mellow and full that it makes adlibing pretty much effortless. I'm using the tuning for two songs and counting with my band. Originally, a tuning I came up with was going to be our new staple sound, but that might be changing now.
I keep my guitars in GGDDFF, DAEGBB and DDAF#AD. It has been so long I'd probably trip all over myself if I tried playing anything other than a bass in standard.

True, but...I really don't play video games anymore since probably a few years back. I mostly spend more time with my own creations than play other people's games. Yeah, that might sound a bit selfish, but that's how it is. I think I've been turned off by video games in the past because of finical reasons, my brother selling most of my video games, no time, and other things like that. It's something that really doesn't bother me that much, anymore. I'll always enjoy playing and creating video games, but one has to grow up sometime.
Speaking of Zelda: Skyward Sword, I've decided NOT to purchase it. I just really don't have the money to throw it on something I'll probably play for a few days and throw it away. It's the same with Twlight Princess; I still need to play and finish that game after beating the first three temples, but probably won't get a chance to.

Yeah, really sucks that he passed away... I think I'll always remember him mostly for this wicked shot againist Ali in their first fight...that, and the Simpsons cameo thing. :D
