When I think of Majora's mask, I can't help but cry manly tears thinking about Kafei and Anju, the deku butler, the unfortunate skull kid, Makau, etc...
No Zelda game will ever be as beautifully dark.
Anyway, would the apocalypse happen, it'd be at noon GMT, as that's the only time it's the same date all over the planet. That means there's... 45 hours remaining... Dawn of the second day...
America, you're lucky. The apocalypse will actually come at 6 am for some of you XD.
Of course nothig will actually happen, but hey.

I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

I've always wondered if the final day of the Mayan calendar is in fact december 21st 2012. For instance, when calculating what date on our calendar it would be, have leap years been taken into account? If not, we should be long dead by now.

I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

They were far more advanced in astronomy than Europe, so.
Majora's Mask always struck me as ridiculously goofy, even for a Zelda game. I couldn't take any part of it seriously, except maybe the hidden love story. The "apocalypse" was a giant-nosed trollish grinning moon face headbutting your town. Not impressed. It might be the dumbest Zelda plot ever, though Spirit Tracks is a close contender.

I would argue that the wizard turned into a talking hat by his apprentice makes for the dumbest Zelda plot ever, but that's just my opinion. I love Minish Cap, but a talking hat? Srsly? The whole point of Majora's Mask is seeing how everybody reacts to the nearing apocalypse. Everybody is going to die in three days. Period. That may not make the best Zelda plot ever, but definitely the darkest. The fact that the moon has a trollface or the main villain is a mask is less important. It's the pure despair that hangs over your head all the way through the game that matters.

Nope. They didn't. We were supposed have died already. I think it was sometime in July.
The dumbest Zelda plot ever is all of them. Because it boils down to "I don't really care." It's about the adventure! The exploration! The swashbuckling puzzles!

Thsi would be great if it was RMN Games. Then you could make it into an event. You could even make restrictions for games like tastes like spelunky instead of RM games.
You mean like a event where people play different restrictions they think up, and whoever does the most difficult challenge wins?
I think a better approach would be to make Achievements for each challenge (ideas user submitted or host submitted). Then they would do an LP (now this doubles as a contributing event!) showing them doing challenge. At the end, everyone would be awarded the corresponding achievements from which challenges they completed.
It would be hard to figure out the "Most Difficult Challenge". I don't think everyone would agree. However, if you do the above way, you could weight harder challenges: HARDER = MORE MAKERSCORE!

I'm not sure whether that would work... RMN is about game development, not gaming skills. I wonder how many participants you'd get... If you're going to use RM games there would hardly be any interesting restrictions you could come up with (no items? no deaths of any party member? Is that fun?) Also I don't think many people have the necessary equipment to make a let's play, let alone one in which they talk...
