Honestly, what the heck is the point of Distance Formula? It's a complete waste of my time.
Because that is a very common and useful thing in programming. I use it all the time.
Also, I am curious, can you give one example of how you use it ? :)
A very common use is checking if two circles or spheres intersect;
if( sqrt( pow( x1 - x2, 2 ) + pow( y1 - y2, 2 ) ) < radius1 + radius2 )

}
This would check if a point is within the combined radius of the circles.
The 3D version would be the same, just with an extra set of coords.

So last week, I was trying to deposit a check to my bank account. The ATM machine malfunctioned for some reason and didn't return me the check. The money wasn't added to my account either. So I have to talk to a guy and he told me he would check the machine and investigate it later.
He added a certain amount of money into my account, and if the check is less or more than that, he would fix it. He said a mail will be sent to me when it 's done. Now it 's been almost one week already, and I still haven't gotten any mail. When I check my bank account, it still shows the temporary transaction. I am worried and not sure what to do. :P

I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

I think maybe you should talk to your bank, I doubt they'll bite your face off for simply asking about your money. They probably get a lot worse from other people.

I talked to them last week, and they were the one who called that guy for me. I just don't know if there is anything they can do, or they might tell me to wait a little longer. :P
Best case scenario, there was something wrong and they fix it for you and everything's peachy.
Worst case scenario, they tell you it's still processing and you need to wait a little while.
Either way you can get peace of mind. Unless of course you fear the human interaction, in which case the situation might make you paranoid and anxious FOREVER.

Like most people's, I'd assume it comes from experience with children. They're pretty intolerable.
