You see, I found a lot of cool avatars I liked, and could not decide on a single one, so I got one that alters between all of them.

I love when searching on ebay for X item, and finding it and always out of curiosity I check the seller's store. Only to find a 34D bra, which happens to be the only thing with a bid out of all the other items.
Now, this isn't always out of place. But when you are looking at games or toys and the one thing that stands out amongst it all is a bra, it's like wtf?

I just find that odd, not that anything is wrong with the seller selling whatever they have beyond the normal things, it's just odd.

In my interview today I was asked "How many doctors are in London?" and "Write a set of detailed instructions on how to tie shoelaces that an eight-year-old could understand".

Wtf. Random finance company thinks they're fucking Google.

Well, the thing is, if your job includes answering phone calls, even if you're not in customer service, people are gonna ask you stuff like that. Stuff that has almost nothing to do with your job and that they ought to look up on google, or stuff that any child should know and yet they are having trouble comprehending. And the interviewer needs to know how you'll respond to such asinine questions.

Oof. It would be difficult not to say, "I don't know, why don't you Google it?"

I had a programmer tell me once he cared way more about if someone knew how to Google than if they knew a specific toolset or language, which makes sense to me. If you know how to write computer logic, it's not a huge leap to 90% of other languages out there.

I wasn't really asked anything related to computer logic though - I guess the shoelace thing could be tied to "algorithmic thinking" but doctors in London thing? Insane.

That's an interesting way of looking at it. I'd be worried if some business dude asked me about tying shoelaces though. ;p

Anyway, got an email today saying I didn't get the internship. Guess there's nothing left to do but focus on my exams now. Ah well.
