WHAT ARE YOU THINKING ABOUT RIGHT NOW?

I have Computer Science class next week, and I have seen some bad reviews about the professor. I hope I can make it through. :O
Have anyone taken a CS class before? Was it hard or easy? :-?

They are going to release or they already release the movie I think.
From what I've heard, the second season most likely come out for quite a while. And there's a movie?! I shall look that up tomorrow.
Guys, remember the SammyClassicSonicFan kid?
Some guys spread it on /v/ and I posted it on Facepunch. Give it a month or so and now he has ragequitted his channel out of his parents' request.

MrChearlie's new avatar looked like she was doing something perverted.
But then I was like, "oh."
But I was only able to go "oh" by taking a "closer look."

Pingu's still the best though.
I just tried to fix the "Windows not genuine" error on my Win7 desktop, but to no avail. I bought it with the product key legally, but now it says my key is invalid. Is Microsoft trying to take my money? How is this possible? :|

It happened to me a while ago and I found it has happened to others for unknown reasons. Anyway, the good thing is people have found solutions to this, were basically you disable the WGA notifications (I suggest trying solution 1, then 3, if 1 doesn't work):
WGA Remover
Make sure to follow directions carefully if using 3. If you mess up, use System Restore to an older point.
LockeZ
I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

author=Mr_DetectiveBeginner CS classes are a lot of info and a lot of relatively small assignments. It won't be easy, but it probably won't be hard either if you have an analytical mind. In other words, it's not that hard to learn, but the class is probably going to take up a lot of your time.

author=Mr_DetectiveYeah, you can just tell Microsoft fuck you and use an activator like edchuy said. If they're going to accuse you of stealing the program, you might as well use the tool that people who do steal the program use to be able to keep using it. Alternately, uh, try just inputting your product key again? It's printed on a sticker on the bottom or back of your computer.

author=Mr_DetectiveI'm a CS student and have been finding the degree a breeze so far to be honest, but mostly because it skimps on Mathematics classes (read: Barely any calculus).

Three months into my pseudo-internship with one more month to go, and I've realised something pretty weird: As much as I dislike the work at times, there's an immense sense of pride in that I'm actually giving something back to the world as opposed to simply just learning things. In other words, while I'm not enjoying it, I'm enjoying the fact that I am gainfully employed, and am thus looking forward to graduating next year...even if it signals the beginning of 9-to-5 work till I retire.
Hopefully I'll be able to get into a bigger company this time round - working at a start-up is just a bit too much for too little reward (I might have said this already but it desperately needs repeating). Apparently I'm in a good position for tech roles at Investment Banks, so I might just try for those - too much money to pass up.

And what actually stops you from becoming independent? I could easily imagine a tech-for hire. Contract work, there sure are companies outsourcing this kind of services.
Freelance work is the best thing in the world. It's not for everybody, but boy it's a pleasure to be your own boss.
I've definitely considered contract work, but at the moment I don't feel like I have the technical know-how or experience for that kind of thing. I've seen the resumes of contractors on sites like Elance and I'm just blown away by the complexity and sheer number of completed projects.

As a contract worker in the comp sci/programming field, you're going to make a lot less than you're actually work in order to bid in under everyone else. It will also help with health care, insurance, etc.
Source: my own experience before I said fuck it and signed up full time with a start-up.
That said, taking a guaranteed full time position is also like a holy grail to people in the field; so many places are switching to contract work, it's very difficult to find a full time position.
I just lost my contract work (health care IT) so now I am looking to freelance it in the field of writing custom SQL Server reports services for Sunrise Clinical Manager. Here's hoping I land something!
Thanks guys. But before I could do anything more, my idiot brother reset everything. Good thing I already backed my files into my laptop. :|
If the teacher is good, then I'd have no problem. His rating on my ratemyprofessor is about 3 something. Take up a lot of my time, meaning less time for other classes and gam mak. Yikes. :(
How could you not take any Calculus? :O

This is a fair point Travio. I suppose it depends on the field you're in. When it comes to work that involves a certain level of creativity (music, drawing, 3D design) it can be simply difficult to work full time and not succumb to burn out. But I understand your opinion, some people just prefer stability of full-time. While I enjoy freedom, there are those worse weeks or months when you need to limit your expenses...
