What if it's a free PS4/Vita/Hot chick? :P

Hot Chicks are never free, and they cost more than just money.

I hate these mice that skulk around my apartment. They've got a tunnel from the basement into my closet and I don't want to get my swords bloody with rat guts.

This wouldn't be a problem if my roommates would just keep the kitchen clean like I ask them to but NOOOOOO.

Seems to me you need to get rid of your roomates and you'll take care of the mice in the process ... ;P

And what kind of swords are you talking about? Have you never seen those sticky mice traps? They work pretty well, unless the caught mouse leaves a limb or tail behind, plus the caught mouse tend to drag them around until they die. Plus if you don't check them often enough the caught mice might rot and create a stench.

No, Calculus. The asshole lied about my test score before the drop date, so I thought I was doing well enough to pass. It turned out to be crap, and now I am stuck with that stupid class, trying to ace the last two exams.
Never bothered with Calculus in high school; Algebra was hard enough, lol.

I'll probably end up doing it in college, though. Welp.

I've inadvertently landed a graduate job at a leading investment bank, so I guess I'm going to hell. Oh well. I'll least I'll be headed there with loads of 'fat stacks'...

Hm? How old are you now?

If you must take it, make sure to take someone who is a native English speaker. Don't rely on them, they are just there to grade your stuff. Most of the learning is done by watching tutorials on the internet.

Not entirely luck per se - more like a minimum effort application. I went to a 24 hour programming competition that the bank was hosting, was offered a place at an assessment centre at the end of it (so by-passed the online testing and first round interview stages), breezed through that assessment centre (which was barely technical) and now I've got a place after I graduate.

I never actually intended to apply, so this is still a bit of a shock! Only problem now is I'm going to have to relocate to either the south of England....or Glasgow, Scotland. Decisions, decisions...
For real... It's like Vietnamese girls have something against me for no reasons. They get annoyed with every single tiny thing I do. :(

Story of my life.

Based on that, inadvertent isn't quite the right term to explain your outcome. Unexpected or surprising is more like it. Anyway, congrats on securing a job before graduating. Seems you have a major decision on your hands regarding your new neck of the woods. Either choice sounds sexy, though ...

Yes, probably a bad choice of words - my bad.

Thanks, and yeah, it's one hell of an issue (especially as neither office is located in London, where I originally applied to). I've got other pending applications (like, places I actually applied to, to begin with) so I'm gonna stall for a bit and wait and see if anything else comes up in the meantime.
