Personally, I don't give two shits about making money for myself (what am I really going to buy?), but my family could really use the cash. I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

Do you promote your work on Twitter, or any other sites besides RMN? I remember you being pissed about Feral Solidarity not selling, but I've never seen it anywhere besides RMN (and the payment structure was terrible).
Itch offers virtually free hosting for any variety of game, as well as a payment structure built into the site. Have you considered using something like that to sell your commercial works?
What Pizza said. Also, games are probably the least reliable source of income you can ever get. What LockeZ said also has some truth to it, because even some of the best games don't get sales. I know I don't buy any games, but that's because I don't have enough money either. You'll find it's very hard to make a living in the industry.

Also, I've been playing through Mass Effect 2 again recently, and watching some of the videos of the Citadel DLC for 3 (since I no longer own that game), and man, now I remember why I have a thing for Turians.

I've got Befuddle, Maps Weekly, IGMC coming up, collab happening, commercial opportunities, ideas springing up like crazy, and a personal project to finish.
Yet I can't work on any of it because of silly assignments. Life and its obligations. And yet I still browse this site and chat, further procrastinating. I think I'll go study now.

@emmych I think Lone Survivor is pretty scary. I was playing it in the middle of the night and it just creeped me out. It was dark, brooding and ambient. I didn't play it for very long, because I noped out of it, haha.
I think Rust and Blood qualifies as a 2d survival horror game. That was pretty cool.
That makes me think of an idea kind of like the new movie called Unfriended, of a game that emulates a desktop, but then strange things like glitches start happening in the computer. I reckon it'd actually be pretty scary. I wonder if there's a game out there like that? If not, I might make one... one day. haha

Thanks, you reminded me of Lone Survivor. Yet another game I bough on Steam like three years ago with great anticipations and haven't played yet (cuz It doesn't have Steam Cards).
As for me I spent whole saturday downloading Ago of Conan, then patching it, then validating.. Really that game was occupying my computer since morning till midnight.

I'm not actually that big a fan of Jon Snow, either the character of the actor who plays him, but his last act in the new episode of season 5 may have just redeemed him for me.
