So I'm catching up on Game Grumps right now. Currently blasting through the seven available "episodes" of Pokemon Art Academy when the subject of the inside of a penguin's mouth came up. Apparently it's the stuff of nightmares so my morbid curiosity gets the better of me and I google image said penguin mouth. What I find...

I've been really enjoying the Art Academy series. Didn't finish watching the last episode though- there was that thing about spoiling part of Space Dandy Season 2 and then Ross making fun of furries, so, not really a good episode for me.
I get the feeling that Ross doesn't like furries. Not something I could ever prove, because really what he says could be all in good fun, but I guess I hear something in his voice that tells me otherwise. Anyways, it's not like I'm gonna be super offended at the guy because I still like Ross, but, the stuff he says sometimes is... Unwelcome, I suppose. Kind of ruins episodes that he brings it up in.

Goddammit Ross!
The penguin mouth is... Strange, but just about everything looks ugly when you look at an animal's internal organs, especially in humans, at least in my opinion.

I'm particularly intrigued by what people say about Ross from Game Grumps, mainly because I actually met him in person before and took a look at his artwork (we took a Visual Development course together in my university). While I can't say I actually knew him, in the small conversations we did have he seemed like a pretty cool dude who was into art and games like just about everyone else in the room, and I do suspect that he maybe brings out his toilet humor on GG for the sake of show, but like I said, I never truly knew him. I sort of aknowledge him as the only Game Grump YouTube celebrity that I've met outside of the screen... Maybe I should make a bunch of stupid videos to become a YouTube celebrity myself! nah...

In other news, I came home from work to find that the turtle I adopted died. I'm not sure what happened, but my parents took him outside to bask and he may have had heat-stroke, though I think, due to some oddities about him such as a seemingly misshapen shell and stunted growth, that there were other factors that contributed to the little guy's death. I just got finished burying him outside my back porch, and it kind of felt like the death of my cat some years back all over again.
I'm contemplating on trying again with a new turtle, but I don't know, I had some memories and bonds with Max, in spite of how unaffectionate turtles can be.

there's kind of a prebuilt tone, attitude, and general subject of jokes that comes with your Generic Internet Funnyman.
I think that ties in, probably, with how poorly a lot of them react when people criticize their jokes (or sometimes just refuse to laugh). so little thought has gone into their jokes and their presentation that they hadn't even really parsed what they were saying, so getting flak from the people who did listen feels like a sudden and completely unwarranted personal attack. see Troy Baker's recent 'abloo bloo bloo people are CHOOSING to BE OFFENDED rather than LAUGH at my WONDERFUL JOKE about Caitlyn Jenner' tantrum.

I'm thinking about how my birthday is in four days, and I have no idea what I'm gonna do about it.
EDIT: I like the look of the penguin mouth.

Apparently that new movie, Pixels, isn't that great. This review of it was hilarious even if you thought the movie was good.

Twitter/Reddit/Tumblr can go, though, yeah.
Also Adam Sandler can go get sand in his sandlers.

Twitter has got to be the only good social network out there, especially if you're a game dev, in which case it's pretty much indispensable IMO.
It's like... The only social network/hugely popular site that isn't a constantly changing mess of fucking bullshit. It's just clean cut and well put together.
