WHAT ARE YOU THINKING ABOUT RIGHT NOW?

it looks like it's breaking taboos for the sake of breaking taboos, which is a right of expression.
did you read the post? rights of expression are absolutely meaningless here. they are guaranteed by the government in public spaces. this is not a public space, and denying the game hosting space here does not prevent the creator from expressing himself or the game from existing.
I have absolutely no interest in the predictable and cowardly 'stop complaining, it isn't illegal! you just need to get a thicker skin and embrace your discomfort zone!' non-arguments people like you always seem being into this sort of thing, so I'm gonna grab something to eat instead. this post is already much, much more than that nonsense deserves after the thousandth time or so it's been brought to my doorstep like a fresh new idea.
"Anyway, yeah, it's a private forum, so the administration's position is final. My argument for keeping this game would be that it seems pretty obvious that it's a Pink Flamingos kind of exploitation game; it looks like it's breaking taboos for the sake of breaking taboos, which is a right of expression. It's not really within my sensibilities and I doubt I'd ever play it, but tolerating things that exist outside of my sensibilities is something I deal with all the time, so I don't see much of a difference here."
@ mawk, that is the full statement made by Housekeeping.
You might consider not taking things out of context just so you can heat up the argument again.
@ nhubi, I really don't care how knows my age, it's in my profile and a few other places on rmn. If you go back and check my post you will again see :) which means I was making a joke.
@Liberty, please don't hate me :) But really, I know that game was terribly, immature and extremely adult for a site like this. If in fact it is and you already said that, it does not belong on the game site, then I understand the decision that was made.
Now, considering the above.....damn, I can't think of a way to say this that might not upset a few of the posters on the thread, but....your notes and the way you descibe the game...are almost as adult and over the line as the game was itself. :) :)
I would have and the rest of the people should also have accepted you explaination that the game was much too adult for this site and I'm pretty sure all of us would have believed you and forgotten about the ONE game.
I'm pretty sure there must be an analogy for what I just said but I can't think of one :)
This post has been kind of a joke and meant to be funny so anyone who wants to point out how terrible I am......faget a boutit

Anyway, I'm thinking about this video. Not that I'm ever going to be running around with a knife, but just add policing to the stack of reasons why I'm pretty glad I don't live in America:
https://t.co/08KgQPcbnk
That's nothing. An officer asked a guy to get out of his car. When the guy refused, the cop just pulls his gun and blows his brains out. Decided to link instead of just adding Youtube.
And if you find the time, look up Sandra Bland.
My notes were, for the most part, almost exact quotations from the game. No, seriously, I quoted (or summarily quoted in a few cases) what the actual dialogue said in-game. So if it's 'Just as bad' that's because it is what was said in the game and was, thus, bad.
And yeah, it was said on the previous page that it was denied for content issues. If it gets changed it might see a re-emergence, but it's too much in its current condition.
Edit: http://pastebin.com/m1e9LS0i
This is my commentary minus the actual quotes from the game itself. Anything with a * shows the terminology used in the game itself. Nowhere near the level of the game. I mean, really? I might swear but that's nothing on making rape out to be invalidated if the victim enjoyed it or 'joking' about having kids rape other kids or talking about how an orc is going to rape your cold, dead body or anything that was talked about in the game. I only fucking swear.
(pro tip - lack of consent means rape. human body reacts to certain stimuli in certain ways, so even if the body 'enjoys' the stimuli, that does not mean it's not rape. FFS, it's an involuntary thing, like sneezing or burping or yawning - no matter how you try to stop it, you can't. It will happen whether you want it to or not.)

My continuing commentary on Hawkman.
Oh my lord and lady, please...Make like Elsa and LET. IT. GO.
hello, Linkis! the full statement is also garbotrash and I think you should read my own post for the reason I don't owe every rando with a pre-baked Jaded Gamer Boy opinion my time of day
conservatism is the strategy of using progressive language to disguise the defense of the current status quo as an escape from the status quo. acting as though games like the one that was denied are some brave new beast being unfairly trod upon, and not just another manifestation of the laziest and most hackneyed possible excuse for airing personal bigotry, is in itself dishonest and I don't need to humour people who are gonna lie to me.

like call it being unfair but not everybody tromping up to me in their big boy boots and loudly demanding I debate their terrible storebought talking points is gonna get through! sorry

As If I needed any more reasons to contemplate moving out of this country...
Yes Liberty I know what your saying. I agree, even though I did try to defend it as being a very ADULT game and was trying to be humorous. I think Housekeepping said it better than me but I do understand. In fact, I've thought a few 1-3 games might also be a bit much but did not say anything. So? we're still buddies? :)
OH DAMN, just when I was about to sign off....pianotm goes and posts half a story.
PLEASE GOD, don't let me get into another heated discussion, I have TV programs I want to watch tonight.
I do agree, the incident DOES need to be investigated.
The cop pulled him over for NO PLATE like the state requires.
The man gives him a bottle of gin, then says he does not even have a drivers lic.
The cop asked several time for a lic. before the man admitted to not having one.
The cop asked him to remove his seat belt and exit the car, he then started to open the door the guy and the man who is now dead, not only grabbed the door from the cops hand, he put it in gear and hit the gas.
So what, no cop is now allowed to stop someone for what the state requires and then when a person hands the cop a bottle of booze, he is then allowed to refuse any other request by a cop and hit the gas to escape???????
PS that guy also had a record of several arrest.
As for the Sandra Bland...extremely sad but she had mental problems.
It would have been better if the jail had cameras so her POSSIBLE suicide could have been prevented.
REALLY?????
so but I have a problem with cop haters even though I have received a few tickets my self and don't love them. They have an extremely dangerouse job and should be held accountable but only when like the cop who shot a running man in the back.
DAMN, here we go again.
Guess pianotm ain't goonna do me no more spell checks :(
@pianotm, I will if everyone else will :)
Really, maybe we should start a new thread and kill this one :)

It wasn't adult, though. It was immature, juvenile, childish and pathetic. Which is fine - the creator is a kid - but that doesn't mean we have to deal with it on the site when it breaks the rules.
As to your last post - if you were a good cop you'd take the license plate, do some work to chase down the criminal over time and not shoot them dead over something as paltry as a traffic violation. You know, like you're supposed to do when you "Protect and Serve"?
But hey, let's talk about the other cops who killed people over the past year, like the one who was called to help convince a mentally ill teen to take his meds and shot him to death instead. Or the ones who opened fire in a small flat where a grandmother and granddaughter were watching a movie on the couch and shot the child dead, then tried to blame the grandmother by saying that she came at them with a gun/knife/etc even though they later retracted and said she was hiding behind the couch. Or the various chokings/shootings/mysterious deaths that have happened to innocent (usually black) people for little-to-no-reason.
Hell, let's talk about the young black woman who knew her rights and told them she'd be suing their asses because they unlawfully arrested her, and then showed up dead. They tried to say she hung herself with the plastic lining from her bin, even though:
= she was taller than the wall they tried to say she hung herself from
= there should not have had a bin in the cell
= she had no reason to kill herself since she knew she was in the right
= the picture of the cell straight after they found her body had the bin, with the supposedly-used lining in tact
= the so-called mug-shot they took of her (to show she was alive at the time) showed glassy eyes, her head hitting the back of the wall (which looked a hell of a lot like the floor of her cell, btw), no proper height-chart backing and that her left shoulder was in a position where her arm would have to be held straight out to the side (almost as though they laid her out on the floor of her cell after she'd been murdered, arm outstretched, and tried to make it look like she was alive in a 'mug shot')
Yeah, but the cops are just doing their job, right? Right?
Meanwhile other countries around the world deal just fine without using excessive force.

yeah covering up yr own murders is a very difficult and dangerous job
Since when do they have to cover up the murders?
Frankly I don't fully understand why a game centring around rape and featuring child porn (however rudimentary) being denied feature on the site is a hot button issue of "expression and censorship" or what have you. More of a case of "The mods doing their jobs and RMN having basic credibility" IMO.
Mawk's argument holds weight- there are dozens, if not hundreds of other ways for the idiot to get his shitty "le funny joke game" out there if he wants to. RMN having some fucking common sense and terms of quality shouldn't be a problem, it's something to be proud of (if anything at all). Without having played the game and only hearing of it's features second hand, I feel good about saying that he's not some visionary trying to boldly defy taboo subjects. He's a petulant kid trying to be offensive and "funny". Christ.

I don't care to watch or comment on the cop thing, I've seen it a million times before and I'm sick of watching pigs in uniform murder people willy nilly without so much as a minute of punishment for what would land most other people in the fucking chair. It's just Humans being useless, disgusting fucking animals as normal. You all know what I think about us.
On a brighter note, I'm happy to be returning to Toronto tomorrow, to a good, fully functioning computer and my room mate/the city life. Been chilling out the past few nights with friends and a watching of both 2001: A Space Odyssey and 2010: The Year We Make Contact (and some beers of course), two of my favourite sci-fi films of all time.

God, it's terrifying being able to count down someone's last few seconds of life as someone who wasn't involved.
Oh yeah! After getting arrested for failure to signal, and calling her family to bail her out, she decides to hang herself with a plastic trashbag and then the coroner determines that her injuries are not consistent with hanging. The state doesn't think it's suicide, but because cops say it is, you, Linkis, start shouting "Oh, poor police! Won't someone stand up for the police?"
They've got guns and a license to kill with impunity. They can stand up for themselves just fine. They can lie to a judge to get a warrant for someone else's house, break in, shoot a 7-year-old girl in the head with a machine gun, here's another, and another, and another, and in case you doubt this story hasn't been well documented, here's another, face no charges, and oh, all of us "cop-haters" are bullying them. Police can arrest someone, raid their family's home, knowing he doesn't reside there (yes, the police in this case have confessed to knowing that the family was estranged. That one's hard to find. I'll have to dig it up.), find nothing, yet with the parents telling SWAT that an infant is in his room, they can throw a flash grenade into a baby's crib and face no charges. And another article, and another with a picture. Poor police. This baby was clearly resisting arrest.

police brutality isn't anything new, and it's getting worse each year here :(
yet so many people coddle to police and say things like "my daddy is a police officer and he loves me" or try to blame the victims of these assaults. people who understate or deny police brutality in america and elsewhere deserve no respect in that opinion in my eyes.
even chicago pride had a little police march thing... as if everyone forgot that police have been harassing and killing lgbtq+ & people of color for decades...
