Well depending on what you count Windows 10 is actually Windows 12 (I really want to make a Doctor Who joke here).
Win 1, 2, 3.1, 95, 98, 2000, ME, XP, Vista, 7, 8, 10.
Also 9 is an unlucky number in Japan, there's a rumour that another reason why it was skipped.
ironically 10 is probably gonna be shit since they messed up the "every other windows is usually better than the last" rule. xp was good, vista was shit, 7 was good, 8 was shit, 9 would have been good, 10 is looking like shit.

Ironically, Final Fantasy 9 was the best in the series.

Not signing up for Slack. I don't need another reason to procrastinate my game dev any further by talking a bunch of nonsense with you people. >< Or constantly thinking up witty and interesting things to say to make me look smart and cool.

You could always just sign on, leave it idle when you work on your game, then go back to find yourself confused as to what everyone is talking about at the moment.
No thank you. I prefer small chat groups in any case ( that's why I'm never on the RMN Skype channel. Also, time zones ).

Slack saves all messages, so even if you haven't logged in for a while, you'll be able to fully catch up!
Does Slack have that awful “ping, notification” noise whenever someone decides to post a message up like in IRC? I always hated working or testing something in the meantime whenever I used it and constantly hear that sound going off with people saying stupid shit in the comments like, “Hey S4D - say something funnnnny,” like that one time when YDS said that and then she posted whatever I said in that community game she made. :P
Maybe I might use it. I could always just use it to…stalk…(Lenny and Carl)
- I smell a tagline!!! :D

Why would I want to talk to you people?
I'm too busy at the moment throwing tomatoes at other people.

I've had the last two books in my shelf for a while now, but I need to reread the older books.
I started reading when I was about 15, so it's about... 17 years now. >.<;

Yeah, that's kind of what happened to me.
I started reading them when like the 5th one came out, so read 1-5 back to back, then read them as they came out, up until the 9th/10th book, but man 8/9/10 were such a slog to read through that I gave up, then when the first book of the "finale" came out (the 12th book, after Jordan's death, taken up by his nephew), I decided to finish them off. But of course too much time had passed so I had to re-read them all. And it turns out that reading and young-child rearing don't mix well, so even then it took some time.
But it's done! Overall I enjoyed the series.
That reminds me i read books 2 and 3 of His Dark Materials, only to accidentally left the first one in a taxi before i could finish it. :<
