author=Yellow MagicSkype does this as well, only on user side. I'm not sure but I suspect Slack uses a cloud.author=Ratty524Slack saves all messages, so even if you haven't logged in for a while, you'll be able to fully catch up!author=LuchinoYou could always just sign on, leave it idle when you work on your game, then go back to find yourself confused as to what everyone is talking about at the moment.
Not signing up for Slack. I don't need another reason to procrastinate my game dev any further by talking a bunch of nonsense with you people. >< Or constantly thinking up witty and interesting things to say to make me look smart and cool.
My reason for not getting Slack yet is i don't need more shit to distract me. So if you wanna talk to me, an' all my frikken' greatness... go get skype.

That's fine. I don't.
author=Yellow Magicmy frikken greatness was italicized as it was a joke. I was emulating contortion, or attempting to. :0author=BowelMovementThat's fine. I don't.

Early night tonight, so you fellas have fun I gotta be out of the house by 6:24.
Cleaning up my computer I found a text file with like 40 unused steam keys i was saving for no particular reason. I even bought some of the games i already had unused keys for. Makes me feel dumb for not remembering i had that file.

It's always nice to remind yourself about the awful sewage that pumps through your veins every now and then.

When we colonize the stars, our overpopulation will decompress rapidly, diminishing the impact we have on our environment.
This is also part of the argument for those city-in-a-building projects the world over. We live in exciting times.

Further, those aren't mutually exclusive.
I'm not miserable, I'd just rather we deal with the issues we've caused here rather than exporting our brand of irresponsibility to other planets and doing a rinse and repeat. Get it right here and then take that with us to the stars is a much more upbeat viewpoint.
I personally, in my twisted sense of humanity that I hide away from everyone, under a kind-ish facade like the idea of a global catastrophe happening in order to reduce the overpopulation so it is pretty small so we can allow other species to flourish.

Sounds like nhubi is being pretty realistic to me. (personally though I would be assuming death by fire rather than disease, but to each their own.)
I mean, I'd love it if we managed to collectively do something useful for life on Earth and save it somehow, or move our asses to a planet that didn't have any endemic life to destroy, but the world is already dying and how far have we gotten in space? Very far, but not 'colonization' far. At least not to a scale where it would matter.
Anyways. I'm not gonna get all depressed about it, or at least not more than I already am. I may as well enjoy the life I've been trapped in while I still can!
