WHAT ARE YOU THINKING ABOUT RIGHT NOW?

I tried to remove some dents on a wooden flute i was working on with my knife but i accidentally stroked too hard and hit a can of soda i had next to me with the tip of the blade. This opened a dent on the can from which pressurized soda shot out of, directly on the ventilation shaft of the processor of my desktop pc.
The pc froze, blue screened, and shut down. When i tried turning it on again, i got a plain command line that said "unable to load BIOS". I felt like someone constricted my testicles with industrial pliers.
I opened it up and tried my best to clean the affected area, left it to dry the whole day and then tried turning it on again. Luckily it worked as usual.
Just in case i'm going to go buy a ton of DVD's to make backup of all of my important stuff. I don't know for how long this pc will stay healthy.

Let that be a lesson to you food and computers do not mix.
Also, back up, back up, back up! Seriously do it, a hard drive crash can be heartbreaking.

Uh oh. You shouldn't have turned it on right after the accident. Do what nhubi says! If it were my computer, I'd pull the hard drive and put it in another machine because when components fry, they take all kinds of other things with them.

Raunchy Wacky Wednesday!
A dyslexic peasant is commissioned by King Arthur himself to carve out a sign welcoming one and all to the kingdom of Camelot.
Things do not bode well.

author=nhubiI know, i've had my fair share of fried hard drives before. I was close to breaking down when i thought this was another case.

author=pianotmI don't have another machine to put the hd in though.

Welp, all of my computer parts bar my mouse, though that should arrive tomorrow. I'm going to start building my computer right now.
Wish me luck, everyone!

Reminds me of a MSN Chat status a friend of mine had one day: "Screwdriver: 1, Motherboard: 0"
author=zacheatscrackersI've always thought about building my own pc. I know i shouldn't fear the concept because there's plenty of tutorials online that show you just how much you shouldn't be afraid of doing it yourself, but i still do. I have a really bad relationship with cables.

School starts tomorrow, its my last year in high school so it will be smooth sailing from here on out.

It's really easy. You just screw the motherboard and the power supply into the case and everything plugs together. All you really have to do is make sure that the motherboard isn't contacting metal anywhere on the case. They come with little paper washers for that, but electrical tape really helps.
I've greatly updated my megaman remix collection, and it's taken me years to perfect it with only the best out there currently. I can say only a few tracks for certain MM games yet to be professionally (or just about average) to be remixed remains. I still can't find anyone doing a Hyper Storm H. remix, but Mega Water S.seems pretty popular. (I found a recent metal version of that, and sounds badass with a modern Megaman X feel to it) o.o
Heck, nobody wants to touch anything Megaman X7 related, and the only remixes I found really sucked.
EDIT:
Some of the remixes are hard to find now for one reason or another. Backing up all this up right now on another HD, I would hate life if one day my laptop-HD decided to commit seppuku.

I had to stop myself from saying "it's a great day to be alive" on account of it essentially being a national day of mourning here in the states.
