EDIT:
Look at how when my character crosses the bridge, she goes down the very right of it. She does not overlap with the "handrail". In your example, she would overlap with the "handrail" in an awful manner. It'd look shitty...
But whatever. Act like I don't know what I'm doing given that I clearly know what I'm doing. And hell, even if it could be done more efficiently, it clearly works perfectly. I'm happy with it. So I could waste tileset space that I don't have or I could do it my way. I'm fine with my way :)

@Mirak: Yeah, though knowing the base stuff well I can see the colour loss in various areas, but it runs quite smoothly, which is great. The first one I tried jumped all about the place, screentogif is pretty good.
On the whole gun thing, America has had them around too long to make a ban at all feasible now, gangs and people who shouldn't have guns will have them, and the civilians will suffer. I think disallowing civilians the ability to buy a rifle without a license would help, but it won't stop the determined.
Australia, well we jumped on that bandwagon early, got to it before people had rights, so to speak.
You wanna be a criminal here you either gotta bring a knife/beer bottle (more fun imo) or get a license.
The general consensus here is that guns are for pussies. Real men fight with their bodies. Most of our domestic violence is physical beatings.
You only bring a knife if you intend to kill someone, otherwise brawling is the way to go for teaching them manlets a lesson.

Mirak: You can export video to GIF using ffpmeg. That's how I would do it.
ffmpeg seems pretty simple to me...
Then again, I do basically all audio and video editing on the command line, so I'm used to it.

Hey sated how do you do those aaaaawesome footage gifs?
A minimal loss method involves spamming the print screen button. Preferably, set it up so that screenshots are saved directly into image files instead of to the clipboard. You could then use said shots to generate a gif.
Do this if you're not worried about sanity :)
