Mirak that was gorgeously weird and creepy. :)
To be frank i find it cute. It's only at the end when it makes me a tiny bit uncomfortable, but then i remember there's a dude inside that suit and the feeling fades away.

I really want to play dark souls sicne i got it recently on steam, but i promised myself i'd devote time to making my entry to the no-rm event. I know that if i start playing dark souls now i wouldn't want to stop.

The guns, at least from videos I watched, have so much bloody amazing impact.

Just one warning, it's brutal.

Pig's dance immediately reminded me of David Lynch and his cult classic (although it's completely different).

Nothing reveals Humanity so well as the games it plays. A game of betrayal, where the most suspicious person is brutally murdered? How savage.

I'm not sure whether to laugh or cry at how true this is...

Also, the glorious day of my usertitle is finally here. ^^
Even though I had to donate for it...
I wear my pants pockets inside out. Sometimes people point it out, thinking I just don't know. I say that it's 2015, get with the times!

I may be back. Depends on if my computer (which is now about 80% brand-spankin'-new by the way) wants to shit itself again.

Two days without a computer of any kind. I was sure that I'd go mad. I actually started reading the Bible in earnest.

#firstworldproblems

PS: The whole thing about "man lying with man as he would a woman" was prefaced by essentially saying "don't do as the Egyptians (your taskmasters) did as this is shameful", which tells me that we, being separated by the Hebrews of Exodus by thousands of years, no longer apply. I mean, if I wanted to distance myself from a people who worshiped their own idols and who worked my people to death and doubly so after the first few times Moses approached Pharaoh ("let my people go" was met with "no more straw for bricks for you but you'll still meet your current quota"), that'd be the way to do it, but you have to take it in the context of Scripture and the times in which they were written. Sure, there's plenty of good stuff in there that does still apply (like incest of any kind), but I really think there's room for debate on the much-feared Leviticus 18:22.

But let it be known that this is the same book that had God Himself bully Pharaoh (God hardened Pharaoh's heart, therefore placing what happens to Egypt solely on the shoulders of God) and his people into suffering continuously (first destroying the fresh water (turning it to blood so it is undrinkable), then the crops and livestock by hail, and cleaning up the remainder with locust before eventually saying "screw it, Imma just kill everyone's firstborn) for His amusement and in order to "make Himself great". It also says that the Lord spoke to Moses and said "My name is Jealous, for I am a jealous God."

I've got characters in my game with namesakes like that, too, but they're all villains... Oops.

I asked my mother (being a Christian) about a few earlier parts and she said "it's good that you want a context, but I'd recommend just starting with the New Testament", as if Christians aren't to be held accountable for the writings of the Talmud, despite the fact that the more vocal political ones reference it all the time to push for discriminatory laws against homosexuals.
So for a long time, I've powered my gamecube using an old ATX power supply. I just put a bit of wire between the green wire and a ground on the motherboard connector, jam the 12v drive wires into the back of the gamecube, and go. Works great.

Well, it stopped working. My PSU finally bit the dust (it was old in the year 2000 when I got it). So I bought a new, real gamecube power adapter. It finally got here today, and so I put in a game and fired it up. It worked for about ten seconds, and then stopped. The fan still spun, but the power light would just flicker for a second or so when I hit the power button, and then went dark, and I got not video.

I finally noticed that if I had no controller plugged in, it started up fine. Somehow I have none of my electrical tools with me anymore, so I used a computer case fan and a nine volt battery and some bits of wire to check if the connections on the controller were shorted. And so they were. I spliced out a slight bulge in the cable for the controller, and then it all worked again.

Well, it worked for about an hour. My gamecube has made slightly worrying clicking sounds for years, but it was really bad now. Every once in a while when it was loading something, I would hear ten or so clicks in a row, and I could hear that the disk had stopped spinning and the head was just ramming itself against the stops three or four times before it would try to read again.

I recognized this issue as the same as what one of my dreamcasts does, and that I may be able to fix this by turning up the power of the laser (the drive is ramming the head against the stops because it can't tell what part of the disc its reading from, or so I was told). So I pull out my screwdriver I bought for my SNES.

And guess what? The end is to fat, it can't fit all the way down the wells to the screws on the bottom of the gamecube.

Some things just don't want to work.

E: And yes, I've heard that you can heat up the end of a bic pen with a lighter and jam it in there to unscrew this kind of screw. I've tried it dozens of times, looked up youtube videos on how to do it, and read tons of posts about it. It's never worked for me, no matter how long I wait for the pen to cool down, how melty or not I get the pen, or how hard or light I push down. It just doesn't work.

My uncles says that you can basically ignore the rules in the old testament because when Jesus came, the rules of the old testament were made obsolete.
It's not so much that it was made obsolete completely. The Ten Commandments are still in effect, but also those rules in Leviticus were for church members mainly (that is, Levites, the people who were priests and all). There's also a lot of context to be taken in regards to the laws of the land in those days and what, exactly was meant by certain rules, and why.

Also what words in Hebrew meant in that time period differ from today as language changes over time. After all, most people look to the O;d King James' version thinking it's the best and truest version and while it's not bad, it's also lost a LOT in translation through various languages before it came to English, so... yeah.

There's a LOT to consider when reading the Bible.

My opinion has always been that there are two types of religious people. Those who take the content of their holy books at face value, and those worth talking to.

Of course the same applies to atheists. There are those who accept that the notion that no god exists is as unscientific as the notion that a god does exist, and those who are worse than even most religious zealots.

Does that make me petty? Maybe. I just can't stand dishonesty.
Why would no god existing be unscientific?

Let me rephrase that. There are those who accept that the claim that no god exists is as unscientific as the claim that a god does exist, and those who are worse than even most religious zealots.
