Oh good, everyone actually did the no-drama thing. That's just what was on my mind at the time. It is the whatchu thinking about right now thread' after all!

Still thinking of how I could best utilize the extra bonuses i got by buying that big humble thing with all that gam mak dlc

I have some spare keys, I'll probably do a contest for some of it over on RMMV.co

Also I'm heavily considering withdrawing from my course. I'm not making a final decision until Wednesday though.

I really like it, just my physical and mental conditions aren't fit for it about now, and I've had to skip several classes so now I'm feeling behind.

Also I lack the enthusiasm I imagined I'd have. I mostly blame this on my recent mental developments and that shit. But also MV for reigniting my love for RPGMaker.

I clearly am not ready to move on yet. So with RPG Maker I stay.
Oh man, watching these kids react to Back to the Future II is making me feel old. orz

Nevermind that 2 days from now is when Marty McFly and Doc Brown 'arrive' in 2015. Crazy...

And it's gonna be just as real as that video of them as depicted by Rick n' Morty.

The fantastical idea of the future being some metropolitan utopia is a pipe dream at best. No doubt, we have done some cool invention, but nothing like we imagined.

A lot of this can be blamed on America's outrageous military budget which in turn means NASA, the minds behind the space age technology we could be using right now, they get only 1% of America's wealth for advancement, so while they are still doing incredible things, it takes a lot of time because they are so horribly underpaid, and these are the guys who could make the need for a military redundant in the first place.

And even with so much of the country focusing on defending themselves from an imminent terrorist attack brought on by people who hate them because they raped their country and stripped away their rights in the pursuit of fossil fuels that continually ruin this planet. America still couldn't protect itself.

Nothing reveals Humanity so well as the games it plays. A game of betrayal, where the most suspicious person is brutally murdered? How savage.

Me and a bunch of friends are going to have a BTTF marathon on Wednesday. Never mind that we weren't alive when the movies came out and that the next two weeks are the first exam period of the year, sometimes you gotta prioritise. What are people's plans for Oct. 21 2015 around the globe?

If you really think you can't handle it anymore that might be the best thing to do, but it's a good thing you're putting off the decision for at least a few days longer. I have no idea what conditions you are in right now, but I find that putting those kinds of giant decisions off for as long as possible works best for me. Last year, halfway through the year I was 98% sure that I was going to stop my Physics course, and only continue my Maths course. I decided to put off the decision until the end of the year, and here I am still doing both courses.

I was born the year the first Back to the Future film was released. In a few days the 'future' as depicted in Back to the Future Part II will officially be in the past.

Goddamn am I getting old.

Given that the concept of an omnipotent, omnipresent, all-powerful being breaks several fundamental laws of physics, I'd say that there's very little unscientific about the claim that gods can't exist.
That's if you say a god must exist inside our spacetime, as something material. If you allow something to exist outside of those restrictions, there is immediately no way for us to test the existance of it. And then the question of whether it exists or not becomes meaningless, as well as any stances on the matter.

...except that there is also no evidence that this extra-spacetime power has any effect or influence in the reality of spacetime.

So if there is something beyond spacetime, it doesn't affect us.

So either gods don't exist, or they are completely irrelevant.

That is certainly a conclusion you can draw from this scenario. Although a theist could easily butt in and say the matter is more nuanced than that and could then go on to give reasons why immaterial things might still be able to influence the material world in a way unmeasurable by science through quantum uncertainty or what have you. And there'd be no way to know.

Which is one of the reasons why I think the whole debate is just void of any meaning anyway.
naw, you are just going down a hole that doesn't end well for gods. "Gods of the gaps" grow increasingly impotent as the gaps are filled or narrowed. So if it feels like the "debate" is devoid of meaning it's because there's really no debate: gods don't exist.
