Alaska has some funny parties. There is a party whose sole reason to exist is to make Alaska independent from the US. They actually get notable, honest backing, too.
I actually like them. Their goal is impossible, although still admirable in my opinion. They have this sisyphean determination to them that makes them somewhat respectable.

Actually, Conservatives (The party, which is the closest to the definition) are one of the better options here. They got about 7% in the last election. Real liberals are non-existent and all democrats are mere populists.
Edit: Trudeau seems to be a positive fella.

My preordered hardcover is waiting for me at home, but I would also have really liked the audiobook version. Cecil Baldwin's voice is so nice, plus it would feel more... Night Vale-y. You know what I mean.
The book tour is coming to Austin on November 6, so maybe I can go. Probably not.

I had hoped that you hadn't meant that you'd started one. You could still detail submitting a game, though. It's what I'd meant to actually write but I ended up just going full hog on what a game page is and the different aspects of it instead. 4 hours off-track. orz

Yeah, because of the questions people have been asking about submitting game pages, my article is a nuts and bolts about the necessary steps, the unnecessary steps, and how to make your page look good. So, I guess I'll at least go ahead and submit it.
EDIT: Nope, never mind. You actually did EXACTLY what I did, except you actually went further and described what to do while the game is pending.

It took me a while to realize that "Newfies" was referring to people from Newfoundland, and not the breed of dog.

It can be used for both. A lot of Newfoundlanders find "Newfie" derogatory, or so I've been told, but I've never encountered anyone who had a problem with it myself- hell, I like calling myself a Newfie.
