I dunno, any socket that is not symmetric under rotation over pi just seems silly to me. You gotta be able to plug stuff in upside down, man! How else are you going to fit two adapters into sockets right above each other?

What? I understand even less now. You can't just change volts to watts.
Doubling the voltage doubles the watts at the same amps.
Since breakers are only rated in amps, it makes sense that doubling the voltage will double the watts on a house circuit.

I'm not changing watts to volts. 1200W@120V = 1200W AT 120V. 1200W power (P) with a 120V supply (V). I simply forgot to add volts in my initial post (The actual numbers are 1250W to 110V, but we like to simplify math, so 1200W@120V). Also, you can actually convert watts (power) to volts (current). What you can't convert is watts to amps since they're not measuring the same quantity.
I'll bet this is why my first boss had me fix his electricity instead of hiring an electrician.
There's a school-wide power outage and I'm sitting outside in the sun along with the couple hundred kids who also had lunch this period. It's 25 minutes into 6th period and I'm hearing things about sending kids home early. I hope either they do that or get the power on before 2 PM so I can go to my game design class.

And many have on/off switches so you can re-boot everything at the same time :)

This was waiting for me under the plunger... I tried to drown it (I submerged the little fuck for at least a solid minute), but it wouldn't die. It came back and crawled on my hand. Not the way I wanted to finish a bathroom break.

But then you get the problem of your adapters being too wide and covering up the sockets next to them.

After I get done volunteering at the food pantry/resale shop, I'm going to watch the fuck out of this. They just got done playing Secret Ties and are now on Startropics.

We do have powerstrips with two levels, I think :( upper and lower.

How many of the large adapters do you have??
You could always piggyback two or three strips...GOTCHA :)
