I really hate how sometimes those chain "pizza-slice-to-go" places (i.e, Sbarro's and the like) give you slices that are too big for the box. It's especially aggravating when they do so and it's RAINING out. That means that pizza is liable to slide out of the box, while you're trying to hold onto an umbrella, with a bag of drinks hanging from your wrist and you're trying to get your key so you can get back into your building. GRAH. >:<

As a corollary to last page's discussion about tiered cable pricing, one of the cities it was going to be tested on was Rochester, NY. (My home)
Local politicians (Schumer, Massa, among others) and web backlash have hammered Time Warner for it so much that they withdrew their plans on tiered pricing for now. As a result of this, a DSL service that was intending to do tiered service also backed out.
I don't have much of a problem with tiered service necessarily, but it sucked that they were functionally making it unaffordable to do web TV and the like, while taking advantage of the fact that Rochester has no competing cable company service. (Verizon isn't here yet)
