Agreed. It was annoying even in Breath of Fire II. The means to get it, and what it does for you.You have your own town already without it flying around the world, which you have teleport spells for, anyway, and you have to beat a tough boss without hitting some OLD MAN even once, and, to top it off, the township takes the place of Ryu guarding the entrance to Infinity. YES.
An entire town blocks the monsters from escaping, but the poor citizens of Dologany! What of them? I have probably offended Jakester now, so I'll be quiet.
The Real Men Network is just that fun! It's almost summer/winter holidays, anyway.

Man, I am NOT looking forward to play testing the final map of BQ2! (Damn SuDoku of death! With NO PENCILING! GAH! And why force me to do two!?! DOUBLE GAH!)
Technically, if you want to fully test BQ2 you need to do all five Su Dokus. ;D

Even with pencilling (I have some graph paper here), 2 out of 3 of the Sudokus I've played have come to a point where I have to guess a suitable number. With the normal rules of elimination, there is no way to narrow down any one tile to a number.
Not good.

Odd, I could've sworn that I made only the two possible 'hard' puzzles to have a point where you can't logically narrow it down have to use my patented I'm going to need one of these here and one of these here so I can put this here juggling multiple numbers/positions trick. O well. Maybe I can sell the BQ2 Walkthrough?
This was the FIRST puzzle, which is supposed to be the easy one!

Quick! Edit the event at I8(located at 023,020), copy paste that last page in there changing the variable requirement equal to 1 and the graphic to the uneditable one. Then open the First Puzzle Event (located at 009,019) and under the conditional branch with the variable equal to one set the variable 080: to 1.
That should make the puzzle easier.
