I had no idea what Nier was about, only that my friends had said it was great, so I bought it on a whim used for $5. Within a minute of even putting in the disc, I knew I was in for a trip.
Thanks everyone for your birthday wishes <3

I'm glad the lawsuit against Sterling was dropped. That Digital Homicide took it as far as they did is just pathetic. *is sued*
Also...
That was the perfect way to close this episode.
Also...
Jim Fucking Sterling Son
P.S. I did not enjoy playing The Slaughtering Grounds very much.

Digital Homicide had absolutely no grounds to stand on. I'm not a huge fan of Jim's content (just not my personal cup of tea), but he was 100% in the right here.
biggreen you just need to keep pounding it... pounding it... until you can appreciate jim fucking sterling son
LockeZ
I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

Potential life hack:
1) Become a civil defense attorney
2) Develop a good relationship with a reliable client until I feel confident they will use me for any serious legal issues they encounter
3) Locate someone with a failing business and nothing to lose that my client has had contact with
4) Convince the failing business owner to file a frivolous, irresponsible, multi-million-dollar lawsuit against my client. Pay him 50% of what my client is paying me
5) Tutor the failing business owner a little in how to represent himself, so that he doesn't have any legal fees to pay
I don't think the situation I described is likely, but I would still like to imagine that it's true, because then this whole thing would be a lot less idiotic. I mean, it'd still be pretty stupid, but not nearly as stupid as Digital Homicide filing the lawsuit and thinking they might win.

The difference between your life hack and what Digital Homicide did, is that Digital Homicide didn't break any serious conflict of interest laws, didn't commit legal malpractice, and didn't absolutely ruin their careers.

I can appreciate it, I just don't like it ;-)

No he didn't. He just embarrassed himself. Publicly.

All his games were removed from Steam, and he spent so much money on the lawsuit that he was forced to close his studio and dissolve his company. That sounds pretty ruined to me.
Yeah, but here's the thing: he can start over. When a lawyer does the shit you brought up, he can't. If he tries, he'll go to jail. That's the difference.
On the topic of lifehacks: I live about 40 miles from the nearest major airport. A taxi ride costs about $150, depending on traffic and the route. But, there is a hotel near where I live that has a courtesy shuttle, and costs around $85 a night.
So, clever life hack:
On the way back from a trip, book a night at the nearby hotel. I save about $60, and I get some free coffee in the morning on the way to work, and even some free soap if I am so inclined.

Nothing reveals Humanity so well as the games it plays. A game of betrayal, where the most suspicious person is brutally murdered? How savage.

Maybe public transport is organized a bit better here, but it kind of baffles me you don't have a train station close by that allows you to get to an airport in at most two transfers.
I guess it depends where he lives. If he's more rural than I believe it
