Man, 54 or so years old and Pat Benatar has still got it. She had this nice black dress on, really beautiful lady.
The final boss of Fate Mage.
He's a lone unit, and RTS, with about 150 HP and the same stats as any other level 10 unit. He does nothing for the first twenty minutes of the level unless provoked, and he won't move at all, regardless of the number of Paladins and Etherknights I throw at him.
However, he can catch enemy projectiles and throw them back at lightning speed, regardless of the speed or quantity at which I throw them at him, and he has a Gaia Rage-esque attack that hits a radius of a good 50 tiles for somewhere around 750 damage - the longest attack range in this game available to the player is eight, and that's from a stationary tower with 180 HP at level 10. He also can cast rapid-fire meteors at any range.
I've stopped wondering why this was canceled.
