"Today I went running and I think I saw a totally hot girl. And here's the weird part she totally wanted me! So I realized something was wrong. I quickly kicked myself in the nuts to make sure it wasn't a dream, and it wasn't because it really hurt! But still something was wrong. Then I found out what it was.
She was Canadian! So I ran away from her as fast as I could, I think I ran the first 5 minute mile of my life (although it probably didn't make sense to run since I was running on a circular track). Thank God it doesn't snow in Texas otherwise she would have iceskated after me.
She didn't even have a hockey stick or anything, how was I supposed to know she was Canadian?"

I had a most WONDERFUL conversation with a paranoid schizophrenic last night. He works at a morgue, recommended me a lot of splatter movies. One in particular I watched called Splatter: Naked Blood. Pretty gruesome. And he described all these freaky visions he has, like how his dead ex-girlfriend would sometimes speak to him from the attic.
Fascinating guy imho.

Canadian universities don't do level tests. In fact, we place students based on how well they can play hockey.

also that's pretty awful :( Reminded me about when I was walking towards the school to get my results today and this other guy comes up to me and we're all like "Hey how you doin" and I asked him how his results went, and he's still smiling and goes "THREE U'S AN E...AND AN A IN GENERAL STUDIES".
For some reason I said "WELL BETTER LUCK NEXT TIME" which was kind of a piss-take because thanks to his results he won't be coming back...:(

Man, general studies is weird, most people I know seemed to get it in a grade or two lower than their average... fun fact: i got full marks on a general studies paper at AS and a C on another, and then at A2 got full marks on the 'C' one and a D on the 'fullmarks' one. as one of my teachers said, i don't think anybody knows what's really going on with GS... (AND I WENT TO PRACTICALLY EVERY LESSON. SOME PEOPLE WHO NEVER WENT TO ONE LESSON GOT AN A) lucky it's worth quite little, I suppose.
er, well, didn't break that guy's stride, i guess! and there isn't really much you can say in a situation like that... : (
edit: oh, wait, you're looking at oxbridge, aren't you? a C in general studies could possibly be a bit annoying... I'm not entirely sure how valuable it is, but I guess every little helps. I wouldn't completely rule out a christmas re-take or something, if you can...

I was frightened by a tiny asian woman today. Went to a little sushi resturant, and when my meal was ready I had been waiting so long I was so utterly lost in thought I jumped when she went up to me and said: "Crunchy Crab Roll! Have good day!"

Changed my mind; Imperial is as high as I'll go. Apparently General Studies isn't worth anything, and I could have taken my retake this June if I wanted to.
