If anyone on this site knows me offline ... I am a terrible coworker. Sure I get things done in a timely and responsible manner, but I have the worse temper in the world. The product that I am actually working on turns out great because I am use to working under pressure, but I think it has a pretty large consequence on me mentally.

For that, over the past few years, I've managed to find way to get purge this ... bad emotions, to say the least.

Here is what I do:
  • Binge on videogames
  • Play DDR for an hour
  • Make prank phone calls
  • Play with RPGmaker

You?
Hit something, I find that binder cardboard is somewhat effectife. Just tear out the cardboard inside the binder, draw a picture of someones face on it (if someone is making you angry) and then hit it. You can put it on something first, or even just throw it in the air and then smash it. Also, styrofoam is pretty fun to hit too.

Other than that, I like listening to music, having a shower, or even just thinking about wjhat is pissing me off. I often find myself talking to myself, acting out situations that I picture happening. Is that weird?

Anyways, aside from those... there is always masturbation...
- Power walk my Dog
- Take it out on a inanimate object (e.g a pillow or a supermarket worker)
- Write your thoughts down, seriously once you see it written down you see how draft your being.

And Myersguy idea, its sciencetifically proven! Can't argue with science.
Masturbate. I am not kidding.
... nothing. Not to say I don't have stress; I just can never seem to be rid of it. I'm almost used to it by now. Usually I'll just write and stuff. I'll go on IRC and, of course, I'll be in a bad mood. It's when I'm on trolling-mode.
I play with my dog. The purity of a dog's friendship always manages to quell my rage... er, and stress.

Eh? My dog makes me more angry because he'll never do anything unless there's food involved.

A few things:
  • Writing. This sometimes just upsets me more, because I'm very meticulous about it!
  • Loud music.
  • I occasionally go to the Gym. =O
  • Generally being around my friends calms me down most often, though. Senseless teenage conversation can take your mind away from quite a lot.
I keep things in because I don't like confrontations but eventually all that pain/fear/anger/hate has to come out so I'll either punch the shit outta my punching bag or scream as loud as possible and get it out that way...or sometimes I explode on people but only when being pushed.
Listen to other peoples problems, for real. I'm that guy all the girls call to tell me how horrible their lives are.

And man do they have some fucked up shit to tell me, makes my problems look like nothing.

At a certain point of stress, I've gone into a mild panic attack. Very rare though.

At 25 years old, I have the energy of a 10 year old for a short time when this happens. I punch stuff, I go for a jog, I lift weights, I rock out to loud angry music. I eat tons of food. I don't get tired by normal means... just wait out the panic attack until it's over. Then all that strenuous activity catches up with me and I crash, hard!

I've actually had a few stress-induced panic attacks. They are NOT fun. And I'm not talking mild. I'm talking full-blown. Hyperventilation, bug-eyes, that feeling of absolute fear... It's something no one wants to go through.

My dog does the exact same thing, well he won't listen to commands unless you have a treat for him.

Essentially I walk out my room, pet my dog (who's maybe sleeping in his little bed) he springs up, grabs his town and drops it on my foot. He's around 8 now, a bit overweight but he has the energy of a maniac. Everytime I go to leave, no matter how long I've been playing he tries to get me to stay longer, like jumping on my knee, or laying his toy on my foot whilst staring at me.

In the end, it just calms me down, even when I'm furious at certain things. I know a dog's not going to turn his back on me, or cheat, or talk poorly about me behind my back. He's not going to betray me, he's just a loyal animal who returns what he gets.

When that dog passes away, well I just might go insane!

Not really. (?)

Chill out and play one of the games I listed in the top 10 thread, or sketch.

See? It is a nice soution which in the end, not only gets rid of the stress, but leaves you actually feeling quite dandy :)
I'll usually drink half of a bottle of wine, go for a jog, drink the other half of the bottle of wine, and get into a fight with my girlfriend after I am drunk and psyched up enough to muster the courage to confront her about the problems that probably stressed me out in the first place (I hate cats).
If I knew the answer to this question I wouldn't be stressed all the time >.<
I cook food whenever i'm stressed. If i have to yell at one of my staff i usually go in the kitchen and cook a ton of food. Next second i'm fine again.
I hate cooking when stressed, two things happen:

1. The heat just makes me more pissed off, and ultimately I become more stressed.

2. I start making mistakes, getting angry at myself, and just not believing I can make whatever it is that I am making.

By the way, another thing to do is go swimming. While this cools you down, it also opens the oppurtunity to openly express an fbomb or whatever you want underwter. No one can hear you, and you can yell your problems away. I always found this one nice.
