The guys in the intro forum (started by Zeuzio up there) convinced me to jump in :D I draw in the anime style and not very good at comics, but I'll try. :) At the very least, I can be a substitute :D Hope I do well!
Yeah, sorry. I've been really preoccupied with school and the like. I'm still compiling the story bible. Been a hectic month!
Yeah, I've been taking these comic courses and they've been eating up my free time. I have the page layout ready on paper. I just need to prepare all pages for PM info.

Alright, this project went on unexpected hold in 2012. I plan on wrapping up a few loose ends from past projects this week. 8-Bit Villains, lirad, a comic, this and more, time willing.
So, let's wipe the slate clean on this one, and bang it out. We all need at least 2 weeks to complete and compelete this comic. I already have the stuff set up to go.
So, how about it? Anyone down to rejoin/join in?
If you're new and don't want to check the OP, basicly, I'll send you private info. You'll draw a comic page based on the instructions, and when all are finished, I'll compile the comic and post it all here.

So this comic has a planned story-line?
The same amount of information you'd receive from a writer for an actual comic project. The idea with Let's Draw a Comic is to slowly (apparently really slowly) introduce RMN to pro-level conditions for drawing comics.
This particular comic is centred on expanding the given script information.
Last time the script was really willynilly, leaving most of the choices to the artists. This script is a bit more tight.

Obviously I'm game. And since I can't draw give me either a page full of action (so I can just draw lines to convey the "visceral nature of action") or give me something that is... well... full of wide shots so I don't have to go into detail on any people. :)

Also, look guys. I was just sitting around drinking some Horc-brand coffee in a cafeteria on Space-7. After being an avid fan of the Battledome on planet Horc, I noticed at once this bounty poster as belonging to the Battledome event Fight Fest Grand Slam. It happened years ago, yet I'll never forget Dh'Udese! An incredibly strong Atargatian with a unique power to shapeshift into and manipulate water.
As my PDA indicates, the records show he left abruptly mid-event, despite being a slave to the Horc Empire. They never found him. Why all the sudden would there be a bounty on his head? Hmm... I wonder?
