I don't know I always do even though I know they will be awful because it seems like they are legitimately trying but are bogged down by incompetence and I respect that.

As a rule, we don't.
The only real option is to rid yourself of your laziness. Either by reworking who you are as a person or by finding the passion necessary to carry you through. Neither is easy.

Also, I used to have this problem. I still wax and wane, but I find that the best cure to being sick of a project is to stop spending all your time in front of a computer
lol, i spend most of my days in front of the computer.
Nothing feels better than getting back from a 4-mile jog late at night. And being able to eat anything I want however much I want at age 25. I <3 my metabolism!
