ERROR WHEN USING COMMON EVENT [2K3]

So, I have a special ability that has a 50/50 chance of either affecting either your entire party or the enemy party, and then a 10% chance of it inflicting Exclusion (think FFV with Omega and Encircle. Removes party member from the battle until after battle, and flags that character as dead). The problem is, I tested this in battle. It works fine with enemies it seems...however, it seems to give me this error when it happens to playable characters:

"Access violation in module 'RPG_RT.exe' in with address 004BBD82 and offset 0000000C of type Read occured"


For those who are wondering, here's the coding I have for characters in the Common Event:


Branch if Reimu in the Party
Variable Oper: Set, Rnd
Branch if Var: is 9 Less/Equal
Variable Oper: Set, 1
Change Party Members: Reimu Remove

End

End


For the Battle Event page, here's what I have there:

Trigger: Switch ON

Variable Oper: Set, Rnd
Branch if Var is 49 Less/Equal
Call Common Event: Exclusion

Else Handler
Variable Oper: Set, Rnd
Branch if Var is 9 Less/Equal
Change Monster Condition: 1: Test 0 Death Inflict

End

End
Switch Operation: OFF



I'm certain it has to do with party members, but this never happens if I have them removed via battle events (the battle event that the ability triggers calls this common event, so I don't know what's going on). Any ideas on how to solve this problem, or if it's even possible to do an ability such as this?
This is a RM bug which happens when you remove the character which was the last to do his turn.

This is fixed in the DynRPG patch.
Thing is though, I HAVE the DynRPG patch in my game (I'm pretty sure I do anyways...maybe I'm hallucinating? Or maybe the Goliath/David patch overwrote the DynRPG patch? I don't know now...though it can't be that since I still get the DynRPG message when starting a Test Play so I don't know...).
Oh well, then it seems to be ANOTHER, similar bug.
Can you show me a test project where it happens? Maybe I can fix it too.

Copied the coding exactly as it was from my game into here (this was actually going to be my first RPG project, but I ditched is, so now Magus is forever stuck on that island being killed constantly by Odin...poor guy). So I have the Common Event, the ability, and the Battle Event in there. One of those Terras is to put in all of the other party members, and the other to max out levels to make things quicker.


You know, maybe I should do it this way for showing what problems are if something like this happens again...hmmm.

I can try debugging this with the versions of RPG_RT I've been collecting.

Do you have an exhaustive list of the patches or changes made to your RPG_RT.exe?
Oops. I just realized that the one I sent wasn't patched with DynRPG. Still gives the same error regardless. The one that I sent in the link has no patches on it at all and is just the default. My ACTUAL game right now uses both DynRPG and the David/Goliath Patch (I forget which one...not the one for full screen resolution or whatever). That's the only thing that I've done to my actual game.
