Okay, enough guys. You've had your fun. Leave it be. We don't want the mods wielding any hammers today.
Yeah, listen to Liberty. I already started making this game 3 years ago.

plot:
in year XXXX (don't have idea for a year) games are now being nothing and forgotten. but a certain retired gamer want games to be back to the world. but game designing is now hard to learn and come by since no one remember how to create a game but he meet some new friend. (i don't want to spoiled on what the whole plot.
game engine use: i was thinking to use renpy unless if you have another idea.
well i was thinking of using your username on rpgmaker.net (with your permission of course) when the main character find out about that typical person old username (since rpgmaker.net will not exist anymore within that timeline)
In order for the plot to make sense you'd have to set detailed, plausible commercial, historical and social reasons why games aren't made nor played anymore.

Would the game be a visual novel then? What would set it apart from the others?
Unless this idea is further elaborated into something more substantial, it is pointless to judge how good it is.

well i already come up with the history why this was happen...
but there is too much of pick on the main situation on that game.
Solution: Remove many pick.
here is one of the multiple ending for the game..
it just a idea i'm not yet working on the project.
good ending- #1the game reaches to the world and it became popular and the old developer now starting to make game again...
bad ending-#1-the game didn't make it to the world...*show game over screen*
#2-the computer got a very dangerous virus that wipeout all the file and the game file never survived.*show game over screen*

The latest post from jormar suggests that you need a computer to play games. I must point out that games can be played without a computer. Which leads me to believe that either the citizenry of this world have really limited imaginations, or the playing of games are literally against the law for whatever reason. If the latter is true, how does the government administrate that law? We're talking a severe case of 1984, here.

Actually, a dystopian setting might be exactly the kind of thing jormar is looking for?
Within the next 100-200 years, World War III breaks out, destroying most of the population and reducing the land to nothing but rubble. (Insert post-apocalyptic wasteland.) All technology has been lost, including games. The only tangible gaming left are half-charred chess boards, missing pieces and the like. Life itself has reverted back to the days of the old, similar to the era of the pioneer days. In order to keep entertained, imagination once again rules the minds of both young and old.

However, one day a young man stumbles across a dusty old book hidden in rubble that describes these mystical devices called "video games" so he sets out on the quest to find parts to build this magical machine.

At the very end of the game, he builds "Future Helper and the Seven Towers", the first actual game made since the war and it becomes a huge success. But then many years later, the game comes to life and the characters from the game pop out and say, "We are here. In the future. TO HELP YOU!" and then they shoot laser beams and use magical spells to restore the world to how it was before the war.

Then in part 2, you have to find the heir of the king since the world needs a leader and all.

That's not even remotely funny, Acrpyt.

Well, maybe a little bit.
